My sense is the ownership of this place has changed hands.  Read on:The past couple of times have been a disappointment.  Tonight was the final straw.We ordered the Calamari as an appetizer ($13.95) to be followed up by fish taco combo entrees.  The server delivered the entrees within about a minute or so of the Calamari, apologized,  and told us the kitchen just put them both out.  Nope.  We saw the Calamari sitting on the hot plate station for a about 10 minutes while various staff passed it right by.  It was  cold when it finally hit the table, and we didn't bother with it.  It would have been piping hot if, as our server claimed, the chef actually put it and the entrees out at the same time.  In any event, serving entrees on top of an "appetizer" is never a good move.  You are doing it wrong when this happens.  The entrees were so-so.  The final insult when our server asked us if we wanted to box up to go the Calamari that sat virtually untouched despite us having previously informed her it was served cold.  We closed out and moved on as fast as we could to make the most of what was left of our night.  This place cries out for effective management. First time dining out since July. Perfect pick was to come in to Our Place. They are under new ownership ship, let me say we left there happy and full! The food was better than it was the last time we had been in. Â Outside was rocking but we dined in and felt very comfortable. Thank you for a delicious meal and football. Great Job! My review is a combination of different aspects.My 4 star aspect: If you're age 50+, smoke, and would like a local place to drink during the middle of the day then you'll love this place. Â It'll be hard not to feel welcomed by the locals there. Â That's just from what I observe. Â Definitely the typical watering hole dive bar that you see in movies but for older folk.My 1 star aspect: Â The place smells like it's made of cigarettes'. Â I get it's a bar but it was overwhelming for me and my wife. Â The waiter asked us what we wanted to drink, we gave our order and to our relief, after a couple of minutes went by she had forgotten our order so we didn't feel bad about picking up and leaving otherwise we'd have to chug our first round of drinks to get out of there. Â If you're in your 20s-40s, this bar most likely won't be for you or at least what you're used to. Â Maybe my perspective will change when I'm in my mid 50s. More...

I like this place. Â Read on. Â Like everyone else, they are dealing with the ever changing COVID-19 health orders and recommendations. Â Based on the latest health order from the Governor, restaurants and bars can offer dine-in seating only if it is outdoors. Â Our Place has always had a patio, but they expanded it into the adjacent parking lot. Â You know what? Â It works! Â It was pleasant outside and very relaxing. Â I have no complaints whatsoever about the food and the drinks here. Â This trip, we had fried zucchini as an appetizer and hamburger sliders and fish tacos for the entrees. Â The food was great and reasonably priced. Â Drinks? Â The drinks are reasonably priced and poured right.Service? The service was great. Â Our server was friendly and delivered a nice meal paced just right. Â Â Atmosphere? Â I like the atmosphere a lot. Â It's a casual place with lots of local regulars and a good vibe. Â Cheers!!
