I just returned from South Carolina for my friend's birthday weekend & she hired Chef Marcell to cater the breakfast bunch.  I'm a "picky" eater & normally don't eat everyone's cooking however when I smelled the aroma from upstairs, I couldn't help myself but to inquire. I love the fact that he had  options for meat other than seafood & pork (I don't eat either), this made me extra happy! Those pecan drizzles waffles, that rice bowl, & the cinnamon syrup drizzle liked to took me out! One More Bite, is the perfect name for the business because I couldn't take yet another...because I was FULL :)))))  He was professional from beginning to end. Chef Marcell was amazing in planning a private dinner for a bachelorette party. Not only was the food a highlight of our trip but he was so lovely to work with before the dinner and during! He was able to accommodate 3 different dietary restrictions without any issue, and everyone raved about the food!The four-course menu was a highlight of our trip, and he made the experience feel like a 5-star restaurant in our Airbnb. My girls trip in Charleston kicked off with an evening with Chef Marcell, and it was delightful from start to finish. When he arrived, we sat back with a glass of wine while he took over the kitchen, set the table, and made an extraordinarily delicious, multi-course meal. We had a fantastic meal with Chef Marcell a few weeks ago for a milestone birthday and loved every minute of it! His biscuits were PHENOMENAL and I'm still dreaming of them. Shrimp and grits, rib eye, collard greens that were out of this world good, broccoli and the grand finale blackberry cobbler with cinnamon ice cream was just the support and comfort food we were looking for. Chef Marcel far exceeded our expectations. We had a bachelor party and he prepared prime rib, mashed potato's, charcuterie board and much more. Food was fantastic and priced perfect for our group. Chef Marcel came to our airbnb outside Charleston last Saturday night and delivered a truly special evening. Â He worked with us in advance to design a menu that fit our tastes (mussels and papperdelle for appetizer, ribeye and shrimp for main, bananas foster / cheesecake mousse for dessert) -- and everything was so creative, well-designed, and beautifully executed. Â Above and beyond expectations at every course (and he brought the wine). Â Charleston has so many awesome food options, but please please consider adding to your experience with an amazing in-home meal with Chef Marcel.
