Very elegant atmosphere and my dog loves it. OTPR does an outstanding job and I won't take him anywhere else. Prices are good too.

Our family has been using Old Towne Pet Resorts for over 20 years. The staff is friendly and attentive to our pets. They are quick to answer any questions and the grooming staff is amazing to work with our somewhat challenging dog.

Oh man where do I start. First of all they are really close to my office so it's super convenient to drop off and pick up our puppy for doggie day camp. Then all the different options they have available for all the different pet needs from day camp to vacation resort they have it all. My puppy loves it and enjoys staying there. Left my two cats in the care of the Springfield area and what can I say, they made me feel at ease. They keep journals for each pet to let you know how your pet is doing and you can call and ask how your pet is doing. There’s a webcam you can watch 24/7 and see how they’re doing. Very nice place to leave your dogThis past week i needed a solution to have my dog cared for during the day. I knew of Olde Towne as it is close to work. From the moment I walked in i and saw all the dogs being dropped off and the friendly staff made me feel comfortable immediately. I was attending a Corgi Meetup. They had the pool open for two dogs at a time. They provide life jackets, towels, a dryer, and toys. They also have treats to help encourage your dog to try it out. Each dog has their own employee in the pool with them to provide support and stability.The room where the event took place had plenty of toys and some small agility equipment for the dogs to play on.I have also been to a meetup at the Virginia location which was very similar. Wow. What a great staff! Genuinely caring, attentive and responsive; just what you need when leaving your best friend with total “strangers”. I had great results with my large breed dog at other daycare facilities, but having to board him for the first time out of the normal home situation after being his mom for 10 years, I was nervous about not being able to check in via web cam overnight, outside play time, etc. After recommendations from new neighbors and friends (we are new to the area), I left my baby here and was so thankful. He gets a bit of separation anxiety but the severity was largely unknown since he has always had house/babysitters while I’ve traveled in the past. Not only was I constantly updated during my trip, but I personally witnessed their care during the first night of our time away when I checked in on him regularly on his room web cam. I noticed he wasn’t eating his food (which I provided so it was not a matter of diet change). I checked back the next hour; still hadn’t eaten. I figured if I looked again the following hour and he still hadn’t eaten I would contact them, which they fully encourage. But being a nervous mom I checked back even sooner and, without ever contacting them, their techs noticed on their own. I was so delighted to find two of their techs working with Dudley to calm him and coax him to eating. Finally, I watched one of them sit on the floor with my 80 pound mutt and start hand feeding him his dinner. I almost cried. It’s so wonderful to see my boy being taken care of with such personal attention and care, much like leaving him with my own family. I wouldn’t hesitate to put Dudley in their hands again, and I certainly would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to ensure their pet’s happiness when you can’t be there yourself. More...

I am so happy with the quality of care my dog received at Old Towne Pet Resort in Dulles. My dog is an older dog who prefers resting to lots of activity and the suites at Olde Towne Pet Resort were perfect for her. We have had to leave our dogs behind many times when we have traveled for work or on vacation. We have used many different places over the years, some were good and some were simply horrific. Olde Towne Pet Resort is our favorite. We love the cameras so that we can check on our dogs at any time. We also love the pool and the packages for one-on-one play with our dogs. They called to let us know when our dogs were going swimming so that we could tune in on the pool camera and watch the swim lessons. They offer pet rooms with windows and in various sizes for various dog sizes. We put both of our dogs in the same suite and there was plenty of room for them. We have Golden Retrievers. We absolutely recommend Olde Towne Pet Resort in Rockville and we always take our dogs there now. More...

We love Olde Towne Pet Resort in Bethesda! Our puppy Loki has been at daycare for some time and he loves it. All of the yard attendants are super sweet with him & he loves Susanna. | also want to give MAJOR credit to Michael Kelly who is by far the best dog trainer! He is always on call to answer any questions we have & always responds within minutes. He is very knowledgeable in his profession. Michael is training Loki in socialization and meeting new people. I have to say, you receive 5 star service and incredible Spa options for the pets . My 2 Pits (5 & 6 yrs old) have only ever been groomed and handled by me but they appeared super happy after their first grooming by someone else which gave me a much needed break :)

I brought my pup here last week for his first swim session, we worked with Alex, who I found to be truly a warm wonderful person with my dog. My dog loves to swim, but hadn't been in a while, and we bring him to help with his exercise needs since he has a great deal of arthritis. And he loves to swim, but on his own terms, but Alex got him to retrieve so much more than I've ever been able to do, with gentle guidance and encouragement. Even just getting our dog toweled off after the swim, I found his manner with Roku to be as if he'd always known him. The only reason this isn't getting five stars is I find the scheduling process to be difficult. I wish they had open timeslots I could just choose from instead of having to fill out a form with the time I want and then wait for someone to get back to me. For instance, I had to go back and forth a few times to get the first appointment because the first time I asked for was't available but was offered another one. I responded fairly quickly, but not fast enough, so we ended up going the next day. I filled out the webform again for this weekend, but I guess it didn't go through because I never heard back. Because I spend so much of my time on the phone for work, I didn't realize I hadn't heard back until it was very late in the week. So for me, being able to select a timeslot that works with my other calendar items and being able to be done with it without the back and forth) would make my life easier. Maybe it would be better (or maybe I was supposed to) call in, but so many things are web based, it just seems like it would be easier to do it that way (it would for me anyway. I might be in the minority). Scheduling difficulties aside (and again, maybe I've been unlucky) I really liked the facility and the staff there. Everyone was really nice. The facility is beautiful and clean. I loved the pool area and love that it is a saltwater pool. So overall, if I could give 4.75 stars, I would, because this place is really nice, I just would prefer to be able to independently schedule like I could do at the last place we used (Middleburg Animal Swim center, now closed) More...
