I totally recommend OC MacBook Repair!They are friendly, very helpful will give you some explanations about your MacBook condition and what they can do to fix it (so at least you won't be too anxious and clueless about it :p), and also very fast. I brought in my 2012 MacBook Pro to OC MacBook Repair in Huntington Beach to have it checked, and possibly repaired. These guys (Deek and Sam) were kind and professional. I was told there was liquid damage to the logic board that has lagging the booting with loud fan. They provided an estimate with good price, and I was told if they found more issues on it, a new estimate would be given, which sounded fair to me. This past weekend, I went browsing some new laptops, as I wasn't sure if this laptop could be saved. I got a call from Sam this afternoon and let me know that my laptop was fixed and ready to be picked up and nothing changed with the first estimate. I was happy and couldn't believe what I heard! After work, I reunited with my dear laptop. Not only these guys fixed my laptop, but also they replaced few of broken keyboard keys and touchpad cable for no additional charge. STOP NO FURTHER This is the best Apple Mac repair shop that you can find with excellent service , I brought my Liquid damage 2017 Macbook Pro to OC MACBOOK REPAIR after Apple store Fail to repair it and could not save my data . Found OC MACBOOK Repair top rated on Yelp with 5 Red stars.Took my MacBook Pro after I spilled milk on the keyboard and it stopped working . I was really sorry about losing my data too .Deek was very helpful and answered all my worried questions and he offered free estimate to check it out first .In the next day he called my with good news that he can fix it and save all my data as well .I agreed to go ahead with the repair and they gave me a great deal compared to other shop around which they could not fix it or save my data .After 1 day only they called me and my MacBook was ready for pickup and data all saved as before .I am very thankful for this place, amazing staff .Always will be back. Deek is phenomenal!! I would go back to him in a heart beat. I had a bit of a crisis with my work computer after a couple drops of water got on my keyboard and rendered it inoperable. Since it's my work computer, I am hard pressed to be without it for any 24-hour period. I initially took it to Apple and they said it would be at least 5-7 days and still no assurances that they could replace just the keyboard on my 2009 MacBook. That's when I found Deek and he came to the rescue!He told me over the phone that while it's an old MacBook and the parts for it were no longer being manufactured that he thought he could replace it and best yet, turn it around that same day. So, I took it in on a rainy Saturday and he came through on his promise. After spending 5 hours on it, he was able to replace my keyboard without any down time on my part! My macbook's mouse track pad and both USB outlets broke the weekend before finals and I was freaking out!! I tried to make an appointment with the Genius Bar at Apple stores in my area and the earliest I could schedule was 3 days later so I took it to Deek instead! I called him Friday night and took it in an hour later. He fixed my mouse track pad for me right away and I was able to pick it up Saturday afternoon. The prices and service are great here. previously visited O.C MACBOOK REPAIR to have my Mac repaired . Well recently my daughter spilled coffee on MACBOOK while she was using it . Stop and go no further!This guy Deek is amazing!!!!I Have three MacBook Pros in the family and he has done everything from repair to upgrade to sales of one that is as good as new condition. .. I've had a few problems with ours purchased from Apple and Deek virtually fixes them while you wait or run a few tasks. Apple Store haha go ahead but don't plan on seeing your computer for at least a week. His prices are incredible and he is extremely personable. Had a great experience with them! Dropped water in my purse that had my MacBook Pro in it-- thought it was safe as it was working originally but then few hours later wouldn't turn on. Took it to them first thing in AM, told them it was rushed as I work from home and cannot work without it, they were able to fix it in a day!! Also they were extremely nice in explaining to me what was wrong and what they did, seemed very honest and it was reasonable price as they repaired the system board and replaced many other parts. I was in California visiting some family when i spilled water on my laptop and the computer shut off completely, I took it to Apple in South Coast and they we’re advising me to just get a new laptop and if I wanted a Apple Technician to throughly inspect the laptop I’d have to wait, desperate for my laptop to be operating again and all my information on it I looked online for repair shops and came across O. C macbook repair, I talked to Deek and he advised me to bring it in so he can take a look, he said he could fix it and it’ll be ready in 2-3 days. It’s now been 3 months since he fixed my laptop and just wanted to write this review to thank him for saving my life!!!! I had my 2012 Macbook pro diagnosed because of two issues: (1) the computer would not wake up after it was asleep; and (2) its "S" key would not work every time it was pressed. Their diagnostic was that my computer had liquid damage and that a part of the motherboard had corroded. This caused the computer to unable to reboot consistently after it was asleep. As for the "S" key, they said I had to replace the whole keyboard. One unpleasant surprise was that I was caught off guard by how they repaired my computer. Over the phone, I was told that they would replace both my keyboard and the motherboard, which each cost around $200. So they reasoned that the price I got, $450, was a good price. Regardless how much those parts cost, I understood the repair as both the keyboard and the motherboard being replaced with new parts. But after the repair, I found out that they did not replace the motherboard but instead repaired it using a laser. Either I misunderstood them or they miscommunicated. Regardless it was an unpleasant discovery, but I figured, "It sounded too good to be true. But it's okay, as long as it works." They gave me a 30-day warranty, and I'm hoping to use this computer for the next three years while I'll be in school. I'm no expert with computers so I don't know whether their diagnostic was correct or the pricing was fair. I only list them so that you can decide for yourself. I'll come back a few years later and update on how my computer is functioning. If you don't hear from me, I'm obviously not unhappy so the computer functioned just fine. More...

He explained to me what he will do to fix it and reassured me it will be a reliable more durable repair than other businesses promise. I had complete water damage to my Macbook to the point where it would not even turn on. I went to a local repair shop for UCI and they charged me $80 for my Macbook to turn on, but with no LCD - it was no guarantee. They said that I could replace the logic board for around $700 and that wasn't even included with labor. I thankfully found this repair shop, and based on the reviews, I called Deek. He told me he would check my computer out all for FREE (shops usually charge just to find out the damage). Once I got to the shop, he showed me exactly what was wrong on my logic board and LCD. He told me two options: He could try and fix the LCD connector OR if worst comes to worst, then replace the whole logic board. He told me he'd do his best for the cheapest option. Seeing the LCD connector, I knew there was little hope. He ended up changing BOTH the logic board and the LCD connector for $500. It was guaranteed that everything will work perfectly fine. I didn't have the money to pay for it yet, being a college student, so he allowed me to leave my Macbook there until I was able to pay.
