What makes a great website?
All websites have a purpose. Whether it is to inform, sell, or elicit an action, a great website is one that dose that as easily and effectively as possible. By working with the content and the message and then designing a visual framework and excellent user experience you can drive the response you want.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The #1 question is what do you want this to do for you?
Describe your creative process.
1. Have the client tell me everything they can about their business, and what they are trying to achieve with the project
2. Research the industry, competitors, similar markets.
3. Work on inspiration folder with sketches and design look and feel sheets.
4. Meet with client and discuss vision.
5. Create a development timeline with check in and feedback deadlines.
6. Create a great piece.
What do you love most about your job?
I love everything about my job. I've wanted to be a graphic designer since I was 10. I'm half artist and half entrepreneur so I thoroughly enjoy helping companies develop the visual messaging they need to grow their success.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was raised by small business owners and I have always been interested in growing something myself. I was always going to be self employed.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have been doing this for 15 years and I have truly never had a client be unhappy. I do everything in my power to ensure that not only am I fun and easy to work with, but that the end result is the absolute best work I can do. One additional thing that sets me apart is that I am extremely responsive. If you've worked with freelancers in the past you may know that isn't always the case in this industry. I answer phone calls and immediately respond to texts and emails 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
