we have been taking our dogs to this vet for years...office is always clean and front staff always friendly...saw dr josh for first time a couple weeks ago was very impressed with the time he took to answer questions i had about medicine. ..really appreciated his tech allie that she wanted our dog to have a positive experience at the vet...one of our girls is scared every time we go to the vet and this is the first time we have ever seen her wag her tail and not need a muzzle...you guys are great our best visit yet...thanks north wood animal hospital. I was able to book a same-day appointment for my dog, who was struggling with some issues related to aging and allergies. The customer service I received was excellent and everyone who interacted with my overly anxious, senior citizen pup was extremely kind . We recently changed Veterinarians to Northwood Animal Hospital. We couldn't be happier with the level of care that they gave our Phoebie Grace. The technicians and staff were wonderful to deal with. This is the BEST veterinarian facility in HP. I took my new puppy there for his wellness check-up and from the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted with smiling friendly faces. The whole staff was wonderful. My puppy just loved all the attention he was getting from them. I was very pleased with how the assistant and doctor explained what they were checking for and doing to my puppy. In the last 30 days, I have taken four of my five cats to Northwood Animal Hospital for their Annual physicals. The front desk staff are always friendly and know me by name. Very kind and compassionate care. They really go above and beyond to make sure you and your pets are happy. I have 5 pets and they are very helpful with scheduling and they always get me an appointment very quickly if something goes wrong. Every one there is super nice.

I cannot recommend Northwood Animal Hospital enough! The entire staff is caring, helpful and professional. Recently, my family had to make the difficult decision to euthanize one of our furry-babies. Dr. Clarke and her staff were kind, compassionate and helped step us through the decision. On the sad day, Dr. Clarke spent time with us to explain the process and what to expect - never rushing us or making us feel pressured. A few days later, a condolence card arrived in the mailbox signed by the entire NAH staff along with a "paw print" card. It was a nice touch and only strengthened our belief that NAH truly cares about its human customers and furry-patients. They also provide excellent routine services - vaccinations, check-ups, physicals, blood-work, x-rays, etc.. Their prices for these services are reasonable and affordable. It is easy to make appointments with NAH, often same-day appointments can be made, but if not, it's usually only a day or two after calling. All-in-all, NAH is awesome and our family highly recommends them to anyone needing veterinary services. More...

First time visit today with my dachshund Tobey and felt so good about it right away. It is hard finding the a good vet office when you move and this was nothing short of the best first choice! They are so nice and I felt like I had been going to them forever. They were also very patient with Tobey which meant a lot because he has very bad separation anxiety and cries when not in my arms. Very happy with NAH! I brought my dog in a few weeks ago for his first adult vet visit. My dog is not super friendly and doesn't do well in new situations. However NAH exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff could tell he was anxious, and while they were very sweet, they gave him space and time to get familiar with his new surroundings. The vet tech worked very hard to win his trust, and was very gentle and comforting during his exam. By the end of the visit, she had won him over and he was very comfortable and happy. The vet was outstanding! She took the time to answer all my questions, explained the procedures they were doing and didn't make me feel rushed or pressured into anything. They worked within my budget, offered several different treatment options, and let me choose what worked best for us. They even called us a week after the visit to check in and see how he was doing.
