I had to leave my baby Odin for the weekend and im definitely an over protective pet mommy, I wouldnt just leave him with just anyone. I had no worries leaving him at Nikki's Dog House, i know they would take care of my bubby the same way i would. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a doggie babysitter to contact them. I left my puppy at Nikki's Dog House for 5 days. I had no worries at all because I know how much Diane genuinely loves dogs and she treats all animals just like her own. I was pleasantly surprised to receive pictures and updates. And they were very helpful with potty training and teaching me how to potty train. I love how there are open areas for the dogs to play but its safe by having them in different sections according to size. I will definitely be back and I would also recommend to anyone I know.

I drop Eastwood off often but inconsistent for daycare due to my flexible work schedule. He is always welcomed with open paws by all the dogs and is treated like the prince he is! We have been a customer of Nikki's Dog Daycare since shortly after we moved to California (4yrs). Are we customer #10? Boomer is no doubt in good hands everytime he is with the pack. He is always pooped out when he gets home! A tired dog is a good dog! By the way, the doggie limo service rocks!

This place is clean and well kept. The backyard is really nice, and the cement is coated with epoxy paint which makes for easy clean up of doggy messes. Communication was good, right from the start. Easy drop-off. My dog was happy to be there for the day. All in all a good experience. More...

Nikki's dog house saved the day over Christmas. Our dog care fell through while we were on the East Coast. I called Diane and she picked up our dog and took care of him during the rest of our trip. Tsunami is (was) a shy dog when I brought her inn to Nikki's dog house. That is no longer and now I'm nicknaming her "Tsu-bacca" (think Chewbacca from star wars) because of how playful and vocal she is when she is playing with other dogs. There is great care taken for each and every dog which is evident from the first time I took Tsu in for a meet and greet to now. Let me start by saying that my dog is hardly ever kenneled or boarded. If I ever do have to leave him somewhere, I try to get an in home boarding. However, being new to SJ, I didn't know anyone and our last minute trip meant that I basically had zero options. Most places weren't accepting new dogs and those that were, wanted insanely high $$. Nikkis dog house isn't exactly near my house and its not on the way to where I was going, however, she had space and was reasonably priced. I decided to check it out. My first impression wasn't very good. There were no signs for the business, it was on a busy street and the parking situation was horrible. However, when i went in, the set up was nice. The dogs hung out outside from 9-5 and went into a room full of kennels for the night (with a few potty breaks). It was all concrete and had some artificial grass patches put down. I liked that they had enough shade so that the concrete does get too hot for the dogs, plus they had a small kiddie pool full of water for the dogs to splash in. They assessed my dog for half hour (without me) and then I signed the documents and left. He stayed there for 1 night and came back normal. Usually he comes back howling or completely hoarse or super hyper excited, but he seemed perfectly normal when we picked him and showed no signs of distress. He played with other dogs, ate and slept and came back to us just the way we dropped him off. I am super excited to have found a good place for my pup to hang out on days when he can't go with us. Zeus (my 5yo Golden Retriever) is always happy staying here. Diane & Jonathan are great with him, and will miss him, as Zeus and I are moving to Seattle soon. I have been a customer of Nikki's Dog House for about 2 years now, and for all 3 of their last locations. Their growth has been merited, as Diane and Jonathan really take good care of the dogs, and are very accommodating to my requests for last minute plans :)  Personally, I think you couldn't find a better place for your pet when you travel than with Diane & Jonathan. I highly recommend Nikki's Dog House.  I had the pleasure of having one of their awesome pet sitters house sit for me during my long weekend trip.  I have a shy dog that is very sensitive, and also two cats - one of which is elderly.   I was impressed how quickly my dog and two cats warmed up to their pet sitter.  I also came home to happy and relaxed pets.  I will definitely have Nikki's Dog House as my pet sitter and house sitter for any future trips. This place is great. All of the dogs are allowed to socialize and play with each other. They seperate the dogs by size so they do not hurt each other. I especially like how they are taken to the park all the time too. The way they care and play with the dogs is what I always want for my dogs. Nikki's Dog House is a family run business that opened over the summer. I found them through Rover.com.  They took my dog in on a free 1 day trial of doggy day care. They checked to see if my dog had any issues with the other dogs they had there. They were very responsive to all of my questions and they both had a passion for taking care of dogs. They fed my dog the food that I provided them and walked him without any problems. They also answered their phone fairly quickly. One good thing about Nikki's doghouse is that they are on social media (Instagram). Being on Instagram allowed me to see how my dog was doing without me having to constantly call or text them. Parking can be a hassle but it's not a big deal. They have a couple of different play pens for the big and small dogs. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends or family members. I left my 3 1/2 month old French Bulldog, Callie, for 5 nights while i was on vacation. Staff was friendly, they immediately recognized her from her free-day trial a few days prior to me dropping her off. They made the process quick and easy, which i really liked. I was happy to see pictures uploaded of my pup on social media so i could keep up with her, my only tip would be that i would have liked pictures sent to my phone, instead of me searching on social media. Also, they gave Callie a bath, cleaned her ears, and trimmed her nails. One thing i am kind of "iffy" about is, when i picked up Callie, her ears were kind of bleeding and swollen, i dont know what they cleaned her ears with, but i wouldve appreciated a heads up about it to make sure with the vet that she was okay, since her safety is everything to me. Overall, Callie was having fun, and the price is great. I will definitely consider leaving Callie here again if i ever go on other vacations. More...

Found Nikkis Dog House from Rover.com and will be a return customer. We contacted Nikkis and Jonathan replied back within 24 hours of our first query. We had our dog in the daycare the following day for a free trial just to see how well our dog would do. I will say that parking was and is still an issue but welcome to San Jose, CA! Jonathan was friendly and easy to get along with and provided us with updated statuses on our dog. Nikkis Dog House took care of our dog for 5 nights and we came back to a health and happy dog. Diane and her staff are wonderful and fun with all the dogs. She treats all the dogs like her very own as she is very caring, outgoing, and welcoming. Diane also used to be a vet tech so she is very knowledgeable about many things concerning pet care. The place is also very nice and she gives out free doggie treats. I hardly ever feel compelled enough to write reviews on Yelp, but wanted to express how awesome Nikki's Dog House is. My husband and I are first time dog owners, and first met Diane when our puppy, Penny, was only 10 weeks old (now 6 months). Upon bringing Penny home, we were very committed to finding individualized high-quality care for our new family member while my husband and I needed to be at work. By a stroke of luck we found Diane, who quickly put our minds at ease. She came to our house for an initial consultation, and made suggestions on how to individualize Penny's care to meet her age, exercise needs, etc. We decided it made sense to start with daily home visits and then expanded into daycare once Penny became old enough/had her necessary vaccines. What I love most about Nikki's Dog House is that it's clear they genuinely care about Penny (and all of their other pups!). Beyond that, they also make it extremely convenient for busy parents to use their services. For Daycare, you have the ability to add 'travel', where they come to your house to both pick up and drop off your pet. Lastly, I love the fact that they utilize social media to post pictures throughout the day of the dogs. Helps to put my mind at ease during the work day to see Penny is having a blast with all of her friends. We are very happy customers and will continue using and recommending Nikki's Dog House. Diane was so good to our Chihuahua puppy. Our puppy stayed for 5 days for a very reasonable price. I loved that there were different areas for different size dogs, especially since Coco is very nervous around other dogs. The whole team greeted my family and Coco when we went to drop her off and Coco was very excited to get so much love and attention. While I was gone I received all kinds of updates and pictures on how Coco was. Including pictures of her snuggled up with staff. Diane was also super helpful because our puppy wasn't potty trained yet. So they worked on that while they had her and also gave me tips on how to do it at home. I bring my dog to Diane the owner and she explains everything to you, all their procedures and I am pleased with how joyful my dog is after day care socializing with other dogs! Also, the building has separated gates just in case some dogs like to be alone or get along better with their size dog! The pictures she posts on Instagram and sends me through message are great for when I start to miss my baby and need to be updated. I know for sure she is passionate about dogs because she informed me about her past jobs with dogs and her cute little pups of her own. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with these people. Diane has cared for my German Shepherd Max because we "his parents" are always very busy working and do not have the time to spoil him. Diane is a very caring, outgoing, reliable dog caregiver as she has cared for our very active German Shepherd with patience and kindness. She spoils her dogs with treats, many outdoor activities, and lots of attention.     The day care is also very spacious, there is an outdoor area, and the dog caregivers are also dog trainers so they know what they are doing and are happy to answer any questions you may have about your dog. My dog Max always comes home calm and happy as can be. Max loves Diane's doggie daycare as it is safe, comfortable, and welcoming. I love love love nikki's dog house! Diane has been the best babysitter for my son Odin. They definitely know how to care for your dog like part of their family. They were able to accommodate me in very short notice when my plans fell through and had to leave my dog for the weekend. He very much enjoyed playing with the other dogs which was really good since he has a bit of separation anxiety.  The best part of Nikki's is the care they give to your pet, like i mentioned before Diane and her husband really love these dogs like their own, and with diane's extensive veterinary background i feel comfortable and safe leaving Odin in her care.
