The most amazing experience! Darcy is such a lovely person with a natural gift for storytelling that cannot be denied. Her attention to detail is sharp and she knows how to weave even the smallest of details in how she brings together her film projects (in our case, a day in the life of our family! ) behind the camera. First of all, our shoot with her was planned a week in advance as she was visiting the Pacific Northwest and she rocked it! When we met her at Mount Baker it was FREEZING but we all had the best time!! I felt like I had known her way longer than 5 minutes. We laughed, shared stories, talked about and pet all the dogs. Our wedding was just a few months ago and it went amazingly well. Darcy was very calm and relaxing through out the whole day. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Reading the energy of the crowd and knowing when to speed things up with a rock/pop anthem or slow things down with a ballad or hip/hop throwback!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I like to let the music do the talking. I never make a set list, I like to be as surprised as the audience is when the next song drops! A good mix can keep the energy going on the dance floor “all night long”!
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to bring the party and play a lot of good music, from the classics to new hits!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being my own boss and cultivating my own relationships with vendors & clients.
