I am originally from Brooklyn, NY. When I was 12 years old my cousin (Little Louie Vega) convinced my dad that buying DJ equipment for my birthday would not be a waste of money – thankfully, my dad agreed to it. When I was old enough, I would go to the club and hang out with my cousin in the DJ booth. I learned a few very valuable lessons:​

Lesson number 1 – DJing is a dance and your partner is the crowd.
Lesson number 2 – Anyone can play music, remember the crowd is there to be set free not listen to a radio.
Lesson number 3 – Learn how to read the crowd, and give them breaks while keeping them engaged.

Even today, years later, I apply the lessons as if it where my first day behind the decks. I have performed at venues both here in the US and abroad. I have been fortunate to play in front of some great people in places like Germany, South Korea, London, Seattle, NY, and Florida to name a few. No matter where I perform, I am blessed to provide an experience for all in attendance.
