You know when you can't stand to look at your kitchen or bathroom anymore, but can't afford the $5-10K fix up? Well, Janie to the rescue! ! She came over (right away!) and did a paint color and tile consult for me in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The colors my husband and I liked were pretty obvious looking at our art and furniture, but the wall and cabinet colors just didn't jive. A few simple suggestions, and a whole lot of elbow grease and I have a "new" home. I couldn't stand looking at my cute little condo colors anymore, but we couldn't afford a remodel this year, so Janie to the rescue. Wow, wow, wow, WOW!! Janie is completely Amazing to work with! First let me say that I have zero decorating bones in my body and stress out at the thought of even trying to decorate. From the minute she walked thru our door, her mind was in design mode. Janie completely took control and started making simple suggestions on how to make our house look more updated. Janie is amazing! I was referred to her from my mom after seeing the amazing transformation she did on my mom’s home interior. I’m a hairdresser and I hired her to help remodel my salon suite. It’s a small space, so she was great in helping me utilize every bit of room I had. On top of being super detail oriented, she definitely has a knack for all aspects of interior design. From what paint colors would look good and why to what kind of furniture pieces will be complimentary. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! And on top of it all she is super sweet!

If I would have redecorated my living room myself, it would look similar to my old living room with new furniture. When Janie designed my living room it became a room where I love to spend my time. It definitely has a designer’s touch. I’ve been so proud of how much better our house looks because It shows a professional’s influence. If you have Janie walk through each room, she can give you even small ideas that improve your overall look or she can help with bigger items like changing furniture. Because I’m not in the business of home design or color, I wouldn’t have a clue of what works, but I always feel confident having Janie help us because she knows what looks new and fresh! I downsized from a larger home and was at a loss of where to put all my excess art. Janie found the perfect spot for everything. She also helped me install it. My husband does not value my opinion so bringing in an expert like Janie was invaluable. She helped me get an expensive look for not a lot of money. She also spotted items that I wasn’t planning on using and found a place for them too and arranged items I had in place in a more attractive way. Janie has the eye for design! I called Janie when I needed to revamp my living room. I had purchased a few big items (sofa, coffee table), but I was overwhelmed by the idea of decorating the entire space. As soon as Janie arrived at my home, she seemed to hone-in on my personal style, and after a quick tour of my place, she was able to make some fantastic recommendations for furniture location, art, décor, and even wall color.
