This is the definition of comfort food.A neon sign greets you outside, and when you step in the restaurant you feel like you're transported to a different part of Miami. The menu was extensive, and it took us quite some time to decide what to order because everything just sounded more and more delicious as we kept reading.My friends and I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Melt, the vegan Tempeh wings and Short Rib Melt, with sides of Mac and Cheese. In all honesty, I wanted to order EVERYTHING, but the place is not the cheapest. At $10 a sandwich without fries or any sides, it's a bit pricey, although still worth it. They also offered different types of beers and other drinks. The service was really good and the food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious, and I made the right choice with the Buffalo Chicken Melt. I added a bit of spicy algo that they have at the front (along with many other hot sauces - don't miss it!) and it gave it the perfect spicy kick. My friend order Mac and Cheese with chicken on top, but the chicken came out a bit burnt. However, they quickly apologized and gave her a new order right away, so A+ for service there. Another delicious comfort food spot in Miami. Â Apparently this place started as a food truck about 10 years ago, but has evolved and grown over the years. The menu offers what I'm sure are some of your favorite comfort foods. Â On offer: fried chicken, mac & cheese (natch), melts, soup, fries, and shakes. There's even a couple of vegetarian options and while I wouldn't say they were healthy, I would say they were pretty delicious.The cheese does look a bit plasticky, and based on the color alone it's clearly not all natural, but it still added the perfect flavor for my cheese fries. Â The chili cheese fries were just as good per my dining companion.I ordered the buffalo tempeh wings with blue cheese and my dining companion got the pulled pork sandwich. Â Both were excellent, and though the pressed plant based meat alternative was not super appealing to the eye, the flavors hit all the right notes to make me not care. Â I've missed that hot, spicy buffalo sauce and blue cheese flavor. Â Yumm! Â And, of course, the pulled pork sandwich was just as good as based on how quickly it was devoured. To be honest, they hardly ever miss the spot! And that's a tough thing to achieve after being around for so long! I've been coming here for years. They are consistent with their food, and hands down take the crown for best grilled cheeses in Miami. My favorite grilled cheese is the GOAT CHEESE & PROSCIUTTO!! I pair that with a delicious tomato soup and a jupiña! They also have a BAD ASS Mac and Cheese! But make sure you go early for this, last time I went minutes before they closed and I think they slacked a bit with this dish, it was as creamy. But still good! Went after visiting an art exhibit and my goodness, everything on the menu sounded incredible! My boyfriend and I settled on the chicken and waffles, while our friend chose the burger and cheese fries. I also got one of their bellinis and honestly, do yourself a favor and try it! I went there with my ex and my daughter on a Saturday (co-parenting is fun! Also, stupid! But whatevs...) we chose the location because The Citadel is not dog friendly, but this place was. I wasn't expecting much, but as I went towards the rear to use the bathroom, I discovered they had a back patio... and my entire world changed.You see, out back, not only did they have a DJ and/or a live band, but they also had a smoker. Like an actual, no shit side firebox smoker. And the thing that instantly brought a smile to my face?A charcoal chimney.This dude knows what he's doing. No lighter fluid to be found anywhere.Folks, I'm not going to lie; the brisket that Brian produced was quite possibly the best I've had outside of Texas and a few select Chicago locations (namely, my neighbor who was born and raised a Kansas City smoke master...)The brisket was moist and delicious. The ribs were outstanding (although they retained the rear membrane... but I'll let that slide.) Presentation of my buffalo chicken sandwich left room for imagination, but otherwise good tasting food. Great area in the back for brews, board games or corn hole for a chill afternoon or evening hang with some friends. Slight wynwood vibe in that back area. I ordered a crab salad cheese melt with a tomato bisque and it was delicious! They definitely used real crab as you can immediately taste it! It worked really well with cheese. I dipped it in my tomato bisque because it just makes any cheese melt 10x better. I also suggest trying their chipotle mayo sauce. It tasted really good with the melt too. Amazing!!! This location has limited parking along the street next to it. But the food is well worth the patience to find a spot. Everything is made fresh to order so there will be a wait. I am just about to leave from this place . I was greated by lovemy who took my order. I decided to build my own sandwhich. I ordered a turkey, in wheat with avocado ,provolone and crispy bacon . I stumbled upon this food truck after a long day of shopping in the design district. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when helping me choose what sandwich to order! The menu was overwhelming the sense that i could simply not just have ONE of these bad boys! Luckily For me I was with two other friends so inevitably we all ordered a difference sandwich and was able to try all three unfortunately I don't have the picture saved but it was an amazing experience.I ordered the barbecue pulled pork there was of course cheese on it and it was yummy the barbecue sauce was not overbearing sometimes barbecue sauce could be a little too much and take away from the rest of the food product but this one was just right. I also tried the blue cheese crumble down was really good it had bacon in it and it just tasted amazing you could really appreciate the softness of the blue cheese.And the last sandwich that I tried was a Mac and cheese sandwich that one is also really good! My husband and I visited together for the first time for lunch on our way to a week day appointment. Even though the place was not packed, parking was still difficult because there was limited availability via street and no nearby parking garage either. Aside from that, they are literally a few corners away from the main intersection of NW 79th Street and Biscayne Blvd. and across the street from the Vagabond Motel and located within a small somewhat odd 4 store shopping center that isn't fully occupied. Anyway, they have a retro sign hanging out front and they have a back patio area that we did not go check out. We immediately seated ourselves at the bar when you walk in and they also have regular table seating. The food was okay. It was good quality and portion size, I'm just on the fence about pricing as we spent close to $30 for two sandwiches and a cup of tomato bisque soup and no drinks. Recently saw Ms. Cheezious in Wynwood for the Veza Sur block party. Prior to that I remember this amazing truck always sitting outside gramps ready to be ordered from after a late night of drinks, so as soon as I saw the truck at this event I knew I had to order from there. I ended up splitting the pesto grilled cheese and I was not disappointed. It was perfectly warm, toasty and cheesy. You know it's good when you bite and there's such a long cheese pull you have to bite again. My first bite actually took 4 pulls to break the cheese apart. It was a good size to share as we had eaten some small bites beforehand. We also decided to get a side of fries which I forgot to take a picture of but wow for $4 they really fill them up for you. Absolutely love this place. Great food, friendly staff, and fun vibe! They provide a variety of board games and cards for you to borrow, and have a secret little backyard to enjoy some fresh air with your friends. Great craft beer selection too.

I've only ever tried two things here but they are consistent. The mac and cheese grilled cheese is pretty amazing! Sometimes if you order to go or delivery the sandwich ends up being soggy so I don't recommend that. Parking can be tricky here, as it's on the side of biscayne blvd. I wouldn't recommend for any lowered cars to go here, uber would be better. If you have a truck, then yes! Definitely try the grilled cheeses. Good stuff! More...

Came here yesterday for dinner, I had the Mackin' Melt & my boyfriend had the Buffalo Chicken Melt.They were both good, nothing out of this world but pretty damn good. Mine came with gouda mac and cheese & bacon. delicious. We had a cotton candy shake, buffalo chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and the s'mores sandwich as well. We ordered fries on the side but they made us sweet potato fries when i told the cashier she quickly changed them with no problem. The price is very good we payed $45 for everything.
