They have rotating cheeses, and you can sub toppings. I love getting their 8 oz. burgers with a side of sweet potato fries. The employees are  good too. One of the few places I've found in the Sac area that offers turkey burgers, and theirs is perfectly seasoned and deliciously juicy. I also love the variety and the freshness of their condiment bar and the many sauces they offer, as well, including my two favorites - buffalo sauce and their special Kick sauce - both of which are terrific with the perfectly crisp and generous side of french fries, included with the reasonably priced burger. Welcome to the place where the locals know how to find a good burger. Tucked away in a lonely strip mall you will find Monsoon Burger looks as if they have been in business for years and a mom & pop style place. Burgers they got one for everyone,  chicken as well. Fixings bar so you can pile as high as you want pickles or onions or You name it. I order the Natomas really good the rub is a bit spicy as the menu suggests. This place is fire they have a friendly staff you can put on a bunch of different things on your burger including kimchee that had me trip out I went there this past weekend and got the monsoon burger it was big so be sure to bring your appetite when I come back to Sacramento I'm definitely coming back

Today I think I had the best hamburger of my life! I eat here about three+ times a month--and I live in Rio Vista. Well, it's that good. Pei, the owner, cooked my burger to a perfect medium rare, bright red inside, crusty browned exterior, thoroughly melted American cheese, toasty buns. I added a piece of lettuce and a couple slices tomato and hurried back to my table. It was hot, dripping juicy and oh so tasty. I ordered the onion rings which were fried perfectly crispy. First time here. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger add bacon. They have a condiment bar, you put your own lettuce, tomato and pickles on. They have various sauces and the usual katsup and mustard. They also have various bbq sauces and hot sauce. The burger was cooked medium, was juicy, but lacked flavor....just tasted like meat. Not sure how they hold down this place with only 2 workers..... but I was impressed!!! This might be my new go to for a good burger. My parents and I ordered our food around 6:30p and in 15mins our food was ready. Fresh fries and fresh burgers. My initial thought of the restaurant first walking in was, "Wow, this place is actually nice and clean" I was skeptical from the outside because it doesn't look as "grand" as Fuddruckers but this place might be better than Fuddruckers.. Hecka delicious!!! Ive been looking to try this place for a while, and I'm so glad I did!!! My burger was delicious!! I ordered the pastrami burger and garlic fries and OMG! !!!! The burger was so juicy and soooo good!!!! The fries were bomb!!! My husband ordered the bacon burger and he said was fire!!!!!! This place is awesome and we will definitely be coming back!!!!!! Came back to monsoon after years and happy to report it is still great as ever. The burgers  were incredible. Generous portions of fries. Fresh topping bar. Staff was friendly. How did my husband love the burger? Let me count the ways: he loved the soft round delicious bun that encapsulated the juicy beef patty, he loved the variety of condiments he could put on his burger from tomatoes and onions to red onions and jalapeños, he loved the seasoned goodness of the beef patty and fries,  how it melted in his mouth as he chewed the crisp lettuce and fresh tomato,  the list goes on. I must say,  I didn't get a burger that day but I wish I had.  I ate the fries and they were golden,  hot and well prepared.  The customer service was great and the soundtrack was my childhood.  Good food,  good music,  good service.  What more can you ask for? This local joint is small and open. Prices are a little high but the food is well well worth it. If you are deciding to some common place burger restaurant, go here. The people are friendly and the food is made just the way you like. Toppings are freely available to grab at no extra charge which is one of the bigger selling points. My only gripe is that drinks are not included in the price of the meal which I stated was already pricey, hence the four stars. They have beer and milkshakes. The Oreo milkshake that I had was pretty good. Beers are on tap and I'm assuming they have bottled options as well. If you're making a pit stop to Fairfield on a trip, you will not be disappointed with this restaurant. Overall, a great place to grab a burger and fries with great food options. 3 things...* It was just the right size and seasoning for a casual lunch. It had a bar for all the burger fillings like tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, etc. ..you can fill it up however you like.I was worried the plate was going to be too small bc I thought I was getting more fries, but I ended up taking some of that home. If I have to pick a burger joint for the Sacramento area this place is definitely in my top three. Nothing fancy but all they do is just great tasting Burger. This place is a full five stars from me. Always clean, always fresh, and the service has never been anything other than excellent. Tucked into a tightly spaced strip mall is the burger mecca Monsoon. Stand in line, order, and grab a seat and wait for your burg.Their specialty burgers are delish, the fries are bomb, and the onion rings rock. Ok and their shakes.
