What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The DJ's ability to read the room. Playing the right songs, the right way, and at the right times. There is no one size fits all approach to rocking an event, therefore the DJ needs to have the ability to read, adapt, and pivot quickly and effectively.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Our DJ's are not your traditional cheesy Wedding DJ's. We carefully curate music for every event so that we can put our personal touches on it. One way we do this is by ACTUALLY mixing the music. Guests will be able to hear and distinguish these touches and how they affect the overall flow and vibe of the room. You can find all of our talent actively DJ'ing nightlife venues, corporate events, private events and sports weekly.
What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
A photobooth creates a fun and engaging activity at an event that guests can visit over and over again. Maybe they'll take a serious photo - maybe they'll take some silly ones - maybe it'll create a unique opportunity for strangers to take a photo together. Guests get their photos immediately to share to social and even get to go home with prints to remember the occasion.
What photo booth props do you offer?
We offer mostly themed sign style props. We have select prints based on event type and occasion!
What do you love most about your job?
DJ's can single handedly transform the atmosphere and vibe of an event (for good or bad). Music is one of the most common things that guests will speak about and remember after an event. This is a responsibility that we take very seriously and the reason we put so much time and energy into the preparation and execution of our events. Our clients put their full trust in us, so when we deliver, it's the greatest feeling in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a few goals when starting Monopoli Music Group. I spent years working for other DJ companies and became fed up with cheesy MC's, DJ's just playing playlists, and....line dances. I LOVE to DJ and love the craft, so it drives me crazy to see DJ's not doing the things that make our art form great. Guests are truly being robbed of a great experience. So when I started MMG I knew our focus would be on real DJ's, a customized approach, and removing the corny traditions that had taken over the event industry.

Monopoli Music Group is not a traditional DJ entertainment company, nor are we one of these companies that execute so many events per week that they completely lose the personal touch. We put our full focus into our clients events, ensuring that they each get the attention and personalized approach that they deserve. Your event is NOT just another event to us.
