Someone had posted Monica's work as a Facebook post and decided I really wanted to have her take my daughter's photo. I appreciate the initial planning meeting talking about the look I wanted her to help me create and the brainstorming involved. The day of my daughter's photo shoot was an "event" which included hair and make up. Not makeup done by amateur mom, but "photography makeup" and hairstyle to compliment the different looks we were looking for.My daughter is somewhat shy and it takes a while to warm up, however, Monica did such a good job of getting her engaged and enjoying the experience. Monica Lau is an amazing artist! She easily captures the beauty and personality of whoever she photographs.
