Great Tater Tots with Siracha brussel sprouts appetizer. Swordfish was delicious! Loved the zucchini in tomato sauce. Love the old school ambiance ! Friendly waitstaff

I am just so happy that I have reconnected to this restaurant. I used to come many years ago when you could smoke inside. Today, it is just amazing . The owners are so friendly, the food is always good, the drinks are great, it's a nice place to relax, especially when life is so busy pulling you in so many different directions. The Midway is a family favorite! My father is a regular, even has a designated seat. When eating out with my Dad, it's always at the Midway. The food is great. I have been to the Midway before so this was my second time. The service was great. The prime rib was a perfect medium rare. The one th ok ng I didn't care for was the asparagus. It reminded me of the way my Mom used to boil it. Yuck. Oven roasted with olive oil and a little sea salt is much better. My son had the kiss hotdogs with fries and that looked good. I got a side of broccoli as well and that was ok. The chocolate chip cookie pie was really good but the coffee was like warm and not so fresh. There isn't much room to move around in there but the staff seems to be able to work around that. I love the bar that wraps around the inside with the swivel seats that have backs on them. More...

I'm proud to be regular customer and enjoy the experience of camaraderie for certain. However, what brings me back several times throughout the week is my appreciation of the Midway's pedigree.
The family has maintained the American diner culture of the 30's, 40's and 50's, serving very good meals, generous portions at reasonable prices. The comfort food is exceptional and I reference the meatloaf ,pot roast, rump steak, and puddings as just an example of why the Midway has it's own special appeal..
Call me a hopeless romantic, but I really enjoy the tender love and care that the owners and wait staff alike show it's customers. I give the Midway 5 stars.
