Love this studio! My kids have taken lessons from Michelle for over 7 years. She is an intuitive and insightful instructor. She offers no pressure opportunities for her students to perform outside of lessons for audiences which are wonderful growth opportunities. Thanks to Michelle my daughters will have a lifetime love for music. More...

Excellent teacher. My daughter has been studying flute with Michelle for 2 yrs. and she has progressed to the point that she was placed in the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County (playing with kids 3-4 years older than her).

My children have been taking lessons with Ms. Cosgrove for over 7 years now. She is a fantastic teacher, and positive mentor, and a professional artist in her own right. I would HIGHLY recommend her as a music teacher for anyone seeking to learn. More...

Q&As

I am constantly learning new skills, and new music. My students keep me up on trending music, and I am tirelessly perusing music journals, publications, youtube videos, and working with music organizations.

Started off working in the public schools, and needed to supplement my income. Started working for a conservatory to provide private music instruction, and fell in love with it. It was no longer work! After a few years, made the decision to leave the public school and try to do private instruction full time. Never looked back.

I am dedicated to my students, and innovative in my teaching approach. If something is not working for a student, it's my job to figure out a different way to present the concept that matches my students' learning style. My musical tastes run the gambit, and I have had my students learn to compose classical or write their own pop music, get acquainted with all of the various instrument ensembles out there or making our own, and being exposed to new techniques in music. We never get bored.
