Mike and frank are beyond amazing. There are no words for how perfect he made our wedding day. He's so down to earth and makes you feel completely relaxed. He kept all the events in order and had such great pictures. He makes you feel comfortable and laugh. I couldn't imagine anyone else doing our pictures. He takes the time to get that perfect shot. Having seen Mike at work before, I actually had my wedding date down to two Saturdays and decided based on Mike's availability. He is SO nice and easy to work with from the moment you start talking until all of your photos are edited and delivered. We knew right away that Michael Murphy was who we wanted as our wedding photographer. We saw his work from past events and were immediately attracted to his style and artistry. We were planning our Northern Michigan wedding long distance from New York City and Michael's flexible and passionate personality made us feel at ease with any requests for our wedding day. On the day of the wedding Michael and his assistant arrived early to scope out the venue. They blended in seamlessly throughout the day capturing precious and intimate moments of us and our guests. Michael continued to wow us with his attention to detail upon receiving his creative Northern Michigan themed wedding photo package- a carved wooden case for our USB (containing our photos), chocolate covered cherries, and printed samples of our photos. Michael and Dan were absolutely fantastic and mad the photography part of our wedding day a breeze and very enjoyable even for my now husband who hates having pictures taken of him)! Mike did our summer engagement session and our fall wedding. Our engagement session was a lot of fun, and the pictures in result were fantastic! Mike has a calming presence about him that immediately rids the pre-existing awkwardness of posing for pictures. His (and his team's) amount professionalism on our wedding day was great! We received multiple complements on his behalf. He does a wonderful job of documenting the day, while not being obviously present. As for the wedding pictures, we couldn't be happier with them! His artistic abilities bring an extreme about of depth to his photography, which especially aids in his skill to capture the natural, non-posed moments during weddings.
