We used to drive to the Tilton location and are happy to finally have a Mexican restaraunt in Concord that serves great food and drinks. We visited the new location last night and it was delicious. And the Mojito was one of the best I have ever had, anywhere. Highlights included the salsas (the avocado-jalapeño and habanero are fantastic additions to their chip salsa and they are consistently on point), the chicken taquitos and fajita dishes are my better halfs favorites, and for me the Carne asada tacos served street taco style are the bomb. I look forward to having the enchiladas again too. So many choices. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he is involved in every aspect of the restaraunt. Our company had lunch catered today from Veanos-lasagna, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, meatballs with ziti, and garden salad! Everything was FANTASTIC! Such a disappointment, our names were put in at 6:45, at about 7:15 they said there were too many people in the vestibule so to go to one of the local bars or something and we'd get a text when the table was ready. At 8:20ish we hadn't gotten a text so went back over and were seated a few minutes later. Our drinks took a good 20 minutes to arrive and the canned beers were warm. We asked for cold glasses but none arrived. The appetizer showed up after another 10 minutes but we were not given any utensils or napkins so had to use our fingers. When the waiter was flagged down we finally got those. After almost an hour waiting for our food the waiter came by to tell us one of the kitchen people had an emergency so left but our food was in process. Our food finally arrived another 15 minutes or so later and it was not great. I had some sort of burnt fryer detritus with my fries, Chris' burger was not even close to medium and the other 2 meals were cold. Kelly went to talk to the manager and only got excuses about the short staff. There were absolutely NO attempts to get offered new drinks or anything to make up for the terrible service. We didn't want something for nothing but at least some sort of acknowledgement would have gone a long way. When we finally got the bill, after being ignored when clearly finished with our meal, they were so generous they took the beers off, which they had already been told we were not paying for. On our way out Dave asked a manager who we could talk to about the fiasco and someone came over threatening to call the cops. Never once had we raised our voices nor gotten disruptive so that reaction was a bit excessive. Overall it was an incredibly horrible experience and the place is clearly run by an inept, unprofessional staff. More...

OMG!! I have never been a fancy coffee person but I got a gift card to Brothers’ for Christmas. Not sure whether to slap or hug my co-worker - cuz now I’m addicted! I love their creativity! They all clearly love doing what they are doing. I want to spend all day learning about their process! Everything I have tried has been more than noteworthy- did I mention I’m not a coffee person…. I recently found out about this place a couple months ago and have enjoyed coming here weekly. It's a great place with a friendly atmosphere and the coffee has great flavor and doesn't give me anxiety. I usually have business meetings here. I'm a big supporter of small business that's family owned. They also source their products locally as much as possible.
