Melody Robbins with Memories by Melody photographed my daughter's wedding and she was awesome! When we first met with her, we knew that she was the right photographer for us. Not only is she sweet and easy going, but it's obvious that she loves what she does!

Around the Charlottesville, Virginia area there are a lot of wonderful photographers but I have had my eye on using Melody Robbins to photograph my wedding whenever I got married and finally that day came for me. Our wedding was a day I’ll never forget now that I have our beautiful wedding album to look at. Now here is the amazing thing about Melody Robbins and her website www. memoriesbymelody.com I think it was about 18 months after we were happily married, I get a call from Melody asking how we were doing, did we have any children yet etc. Then she said, we have something new you might be interested in! Candace how would you and Benjamin like all of your wedding photos put up on our website, including all those you wanted very badly but you could not afford, remember there were hundreds of them? I said well yes we would if my husband would agree and he did. I was desperate for a photographer, but didn't want just anyone. Years ago I went to my cousins wedding and watched Melody Robbins take pictures of the entire event. I did not think much of it until I saw Melody’s finish work and quite frankly I was stunned. My first concern after saying yes, "I will marry you" was getting the right photographer. I had to get Melody Robbins because I had seen lots of her work and I loved all of it. But she is a busy woman and that was not going to be easy but we worked it out.

Melody is the owner of www.MemoriesByMelody.com I immediately called to ask if she could do all our photography and videoing at our wedding. Her schedule was tight, but after a while we arrived at the perfect date she could be there along with all my husbands friends and family and mine too. Melody Robbins was very professional while shooting our wedding... We hardly even knew a photographer was there the entire time as our wedding events unfolded. When we got the results I was stunned. Melody did an awesome job of photographing and videoing our wedding events. Whenever I would call her she would somehow always manage to call me right back. This was always a pleasant surprise for we had been told she is really busy and that I should be persistent but patient whenever I do call her for she is the best photographer bar none. But in my case I never had to wait since she always got promptly right back to me. In the beginning we needed a photographer right away since our daughter wanted to get married next month, an expected but sudden decision, so I was very nervous that we would not be able to get her since she was so highly recommended and obviously busy. Melody photographed our wedding in March of 2012. I could not have picked a better photographer. She did come highly recommended but I had no idea all of her photographs would turn out so well. Over the years at other weddings I have noticed many photographers do not dress very well, they stand out as not professional. But when Melody showed up she was dressed very professionally. So my mother and I were very impressed from the beginning. Because of this and all the recommendations we used Memories by Melody at both our engagement party and wedding. Melody did an excellent job of capturing the requested posed shots as well as dozens of spur of the moment great and funny memory shots. SHE IS AWESOME!

Melody was awesome to work with! She came out early for our family get together and stayed way until to the end of the reception capturing one grate photo after another, hundreds of them. Yes we paid for it and boy was it money well spent. Melody absolutely did a terrific job for us at our wedding and she has done friends of ours too. My wife Judy is a control nut on everything having to be perfect. To say the least I was shocked when Melody came in and she like instantly put Judy at total peace. I do not know exactly what Melody said to my wife to be at that point, but for the rest of the day Judy was so content. We went looking for a photographer and we wanted what any newly married couple would want great pictures of our wedding and we got what we were looking for by using Memories by Melody. Melody was the very best we could have ever hope for! Her photos are all classics, they are unique, they are artistic, and they are crisp and clear. She uses her cameras in different ways, with different angles, vantage points, and the list goes on. We did not know much about photography, but we found out a lot by hiring Melody. We couldn't have envisioned better pictures than what she did for us! Every shot she took takes our breath away. We couldn't believe how well she captured our event and the people in it.
