Melissa was fun and so helpful on our unexpectedly rainy wedding day. After sending the finished video with the wrong groom's name; she quickly changed it sending the completed video. After communicating inability to complete one of the paid for services we agreed on a refund. 2 follow up emails were sent inquiring about the refund but I never received it, or the service I paid for. Other than that, I am in love with the moments Melissa captured for us and how she used her creative skills to deliver us amazing videos. When I first started wedding planning, I was pretty set against getting a videographer. In my early research, I only found ones that were over our budget, and only provided a 3-5 minute highlight video. It seemed wasteful and not something we would watch again, especially when we hired a documentary style photographer. However, after speaking to family and friends, my mind was changed. There are a lot of little moments that can't quite be captured in photos, like the laugh of my husband when I surprised him with the best man in a dress for our first look, or the voice of loved ones saying kind words during their speeches, and even the wicked air guitar one of our groomsmen whipped out on the dancefloor. All these little moments were the ones I treasured most and am so happy that Melissa was able to capture. All the cliches about your wedding day are true. It truly does go SO fast! Even though we can't frame our video and hang it on our wall, it's something I will treasure forever, and will really capture all the feelings and memories of our favorite day. I'm so happy we hired Melissa specifically. She was AMAZING, one of our favorite vendors! Melissa was so detail-oriented and was always checking in throughout the planning process. Her personality was so fun, she was like another member of the bridal party and possibly our greatest hype-woman of the day. I was a little hesitant since she had never met our photographer before the big day, and had differing personality traits, but Melissa was SO professional and it was almost impossible to tell they weren't a pre-built team. Melissa helped set up poses and gave us prompts to make everyone feel comfortable while having fun. One of the main reasons I booked Melissa was her customizable packages. We were able to get our full ceremony, a highlight video, toasts, and dances at amazing quality and still stick within our budget. Melissa truly cares about making your day the best it can be, and I'm so grateful for everything she's given us. This review is long overdue! Melissa was amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and is the ultimate hype girl! Seriously, she makes you feel so comfortable! I’ve already watched our highlight film probably a thousand times and can’t wait to continue to watch it as the years go by. She exceeded all of our expectations and can’t recommend her enough! Melissa made my wedding day perfect! Seriously! There were some glitches with other vendors in the wedding and Melissa helped run the show. She has a great fun, positive attitude, and spirit! She is so comfortable to be around. I’ve gotten compliments from so many people because she really went above and beyond. I could not imagine my wedding day without Melissa there. I truly cannot thank you enough for everything. She gets some great shots and just made all of them fun. I cannot wait to see our video because I know it will be perfect. Thanks again! More...
