We have had family pictures taken by Jeremy (Meier Photography) over the past several years. He does a great job of finding the perfect locations and backgrounds for the pictures and making everyone feel at ease to get some great photos. He was able to edit the photos quickly and get them back to us, knowing that we were excited to see them and that Mother's Day was coming up. He was very flexible with rescheduling pictures due to unforeseen cold weather in April. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Commercially, getting all of the elements right is key, but when it comes to people the photograph is about the moment, the feeling and emotion of the people in it. It's what pulls someone into a photograph...
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to begin client meetings not by telling them what I do, but asking them what they want... Photography is not a one size fits all service and many times if I can go above and beyond to turn a good experience into an unforgettable one it's worth going the extra mile! I like to get to know a little bit about the people I'm working with... Something that will help me break down the initial walls and get them comfortable so the real emotions and expressions can come out :)
What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that each day is something different... One day could be spent shooting a wedding, and the next day can be doing a fashion shoot for an apparel brand! I like the variety, and this is one of the few careers that allows me to be as diverse as I can be!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I come from a family of entrepreneurs so running my own business is in my blood lol... Sometimes large companies are difficult to work in because they don't adapt and change fast or often enough to keep things running as smoothly as they could. In addition I thrive on the variation in jobs that I get to do!

I'm very easy to work with, have a positive attitude and will always go the extra mile to make sure my client's experience is a good one! I am held in high regard among my peers as a knowledgeable & capable professional, and my work ethic is second to none!
