I was in Folly Beach for the weekend to meet with over 30 old friends from college and Mary provided dinner on both Friday and Saturday nights. Low country boil the first night and and an amazing Mexican fair the second night. Of course both meals started with boiled oysters - how else would you start out dinner with old friends. Marjoram Cuisine was able to travel out of town for my event. The event was in Florida, and I knew her expertise would be an asset in my event. My event was an 80 person wedding, she was able to bring her team together and execute the food for the wedding as well as make sure the buffet was fully stocked. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We start with the basic 5 W’s: “who,what,where,when,why?”
Each client has specific ideas and needs for their event. Having the freedom to creative custom menus is very exciting and fulfilling.
*Gluten free, dairy free, vegan free and other dietary restrictions are no problem!
What do you love most about your job?
- Every event is different and brings me all over Charleston.

- Exploring new cuisines and flavors.
-Food brings people together in more ways than one.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being hospitable and my love for cooking. I’m not trying to re-invent the wheel, just help others who are looking to enjoy their party and not have to stress over throwing an amazing get together.
Why should our clients choose you?
I’m 33 years old and I have a hunger for success. Creating my own business has been a long time in the making. People ask, “what’s your specialty?” I’ve decided that “Hospitality and creativity” is my specialty... Let’s get cooking!!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Drop offs of hot and ready dinners have been very popular. Along with brunch and lunch add ons for vacation homes. People are still avoiding crowded restaurants. For more reasons than just COVID. Enjoy the house you've already paid for! Create your own menu, kids are happy, drinks are cheaper, and no driving and finding parking!!
