What do you love most about your job?
I love the transformative power of music and I try to find that moment for every audience, large or small.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I created the band in which I wanted to be hired, and then people started hiring us! In this field that is so heavy male-dominated, you can imagine I've been in situations in which I did not feel comfortable. I make it a high priority to create an environment where people of all identities feel comfortable and celebratory.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have over 10 years of booking experience and much of that is with first-time music bookers. I have easy worksheets that help you plan and feel informed.

I have curated and performed in online streaming concerts and fundraisers. Most notably for IHME and their virtual holiday cocktail hours via YouTube Live for their employees. I have made "dedication videos" for people to send to their loved ones. I also stream regularly on Twitch at Twitch.tv/marinaplaysbass
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Performers who aren't actively singing or playing wind instruments wear masks. I only hire vaccinated musicians.

Starting with welcoming guests through dancing the night away, Marina and her team can provide the unique soundtrack to your celebration. Different sized musical groups to fit different-sized bugets.

Services start at $700 for a duo for ceremony and cocktail hour, and go up to a 6-piece party band with Marina and the Dreamboats. All services include a sound system for the event. We also work closely with a DJ if that is what you always imagined. We can't wait to learn your special song requests!

Rates start at $700 for a duo up to 3 hours to provide ambience. We can also be the main event with our party band, Marina and the Dreamboats.
Party band
You planning a party? You need a band? Marina and the Dreamboats can bring the party. We look like a jazz band but we play to please the crowd with vintage and modern Top 40s.
