What’s your signature dish?
Maricel specializes in Filipino and Asian Cuisine. Filipino Food is the new “hot food” trend and Maricel is on the leading edge of that trend. The Philippines is the crossroads of Asia and it’s cuisine is infused with flavors from all over the world. Maricel's specialty is Asian Cuisine, but you will find she is equally versed in cuisines from around the world.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
It all starts with you and your guests. We focus on creating a menu with you that will inspire and delight.
What do you love most about your job?
Maricel loves to share and explore cuisines and food with others. It is exciting to see people embrace new flavors and re-discover familiar ones in new ways. Each event is a chance to share the joy of food with more people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Maricel has a passion for Asian food. Maricel attributes her most important cooking lessons to the ones she received as a child from her grandmother. Growing up in the Philippines with her grandmother meant fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, and trips to the market for meats and fish. She taught Maricel the essence of flavors and instilled in her a passion for cooking .

Maricel’s Filipino Food Truck is available in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York areas for Fairs, Festivals, Food Truck Events, Farmers Markets, Breweries, Beer Fests, Wine Festivals, BBQ Festivals, Promotional Parties, Sporting Events, and Carnivals.
For Corporate and private events, we can offer you a full service package for your event that starts at $15 per person. We have a full and flexible menu and can work with you on your specific needs and work within your budget.

Maricel’s Meal plans are easy on your budget, made with fresh ingredients, wholesome flavors, and cooked to order. Each meal is like a home cooked care package of culinary love – just like mom or grandma used to make.
Maricel’s Meal plans are simple and convenient. Select the menu items you would like for the week. Maricel cooks your meal plan to order and delivers it right to you (or you can pick it up). Each meal is fully prepared, ready to heat and serve at your desire.

I have a passion for cooking and Asian cuisine. With over thirty years of professional food service experience I attribute my most important cooking lessons as the ones I received at a young age from my grandmother. She taught me the essence of food and what makes it so important in our lives. Growing up in the Philippines meant fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, trips to the market for meats and fish. The Philippines is the crossroads of asian cuisine and is infused with flavors from all over the world and she taught me how to embrace those flavors.
