We just spent the weekend in Glen Ellen with 3 other couples and had Mari cook for us 2 of the nights.  She was absolutely fabulous!  Great food, expertly prepared and incredibly personable/friendly.  We would highly recommend her services to anyone thinking of a private chef in the Napa/Sonoma area. I engaged Mari to cater a lunch for 28 friends at Mayacamas Vineyards. She met me at Mayacamas prior to the event to get an overview of the available facilities and to share ideas about the best way to organize, prepare, present and clear the meal. Additionally, we tasted a range of wines together in order to dial in the menu. The entire process, from planning to execution was easy yet also comfortably professional. Her staff was excellent and served the wine and meal with understated elegance. The food was amazing. How often do you have a salad and marvel at how tender, delicious and perfectly simple it is? Mari is a wonderful chef who has a wide range of creative food options that she customizes for every event.  Her attention to detail from the plannng process to the clean up is without peer.  We hired her for our outdoor, under the big-top event in a totally unimproved site.  Mari literally had to creat a kitchen and service center from the ground up.  The resulting food was everything that I could have hoped for.  Savory Chcken and vegetarian dishes, multiple creative salads and more accompanied by superb service.  I should make special note of the service,  Mari seems to have access to the best in the business.  The service was flawless, or if there was a flaw I did not observe it, which I suppose is the definition of flawless.  I highly recommend her to anyone who need a talented, expert Caterer.
