Manzano Landscaping

I see that there's mixed reviews on Manzano Landscaping and that is why I feel inclined to post my extremely positive review. I was on an incredibly tight schedule and called probably 9 other Sod installers in the Woodbridge area. A majority quoted me really large amounts and I believe upcharged because of my quick turn around, and 2 of them were probably the cockiest and entitled people I have ever met in my life. When I reached Alex I it was a breath of fresh air. He was willing to take care of my Sod installation within a couple of days of me asking him to come and install. He wasn't arrogant and didn't rant and rave about being the king of Sod, so to speak.  I had an open house so only had about 2 days notice and he rearranged his schedule to accommodate me. The other Sod installers in Woodbridge just ranted and raved about how amazing they are and how they're sooooo over booked. Alex was obviously extremely busy but cared about customer service FIRST and found a way to loop me in, AT A BETTER PRICE AS WELL. I know that he had to do a lot of tweaking to his own schedule and I was really appreciative. My lawn looks amazing and he gave me a brochure as well as verbal instructions on after care and maintenance. He walked me through the front and back to ensure I was satisfied.We ended up able to do even more of a surface area than I originally anticipated which was such a welcoming surprise. When i sell my house and move I am definitely going to contact him and use his services again, as well as tell others about him. He is professional, timely, humble, knowledgeable, and cares about the best interest of his client. More...

We contracted with Manzano's Landscaping for a raised bed with two trees. The work went well, and the workers came on time and did an adequate job. Rather then remove the grass, they skimmed it with shovels and then used a weed whacker to cut it down further. With several inches of topsoil over the remaining sod it should be fine and not sprout through.  We were told the trees were guaranteed for a year as long as we took care of them. When one tree died six months after it was planted I emailed Alex, and he replied that he'd come back and replace it. It took a little time (couple of weeks), but we now have a new tree.
