Majaka Yoga and Wellness

I feel as though I am lucky to have found Majaka Yoga and Wellness Center. I kinda stumbled across this place by "mistake" and honestly it's the best "mistake" I have ever made. Jennifer the massage therapist there was one of the BEST!!!! She's so knowledgeable and very educated on the anatomy and science behind how the muscles work in your body. She had a brief consultation with me, asked me what's bothering me and she tailored a plan to help with my pain in my back. I took my father-n-law with me and he also go a massage. His exact words when she was done were "I feel like I am floating". We were more than satisfied and are already working on scheduling our next visit. Thanks to Lumi (The owner) and to Jennifer for a wonderful experience. The also offer yoga classes there and I'm actually thinking about trying that out as well. Can't wait! More...

Today was my first visit to Majaka Yoga (I had a Groupon). I'm really glad I tried it! The studio is on the smaller end -- which means smaller class sizes and more one-on-one attention (something great when it comes to yoga). Lumi (the owner and instructor for my class) was very welcoming and positive. She made the class challenging for my level, but still kept it fun and light-hearted. It was great to challenge myself with new poses and wasn't embarassed if I messed up (since I wasn't in a studio with 10+ other people)! This studio also seems to be having some interesting special classes coming up, which I'm also looking forward to trying. :) More...
