We cannot say enough good things about Magical Sound Entertainment. Tim was so easy to work with and helpful throughout the process. We were planning a wedding in Ohio from New Jersey and Tim made the whole process very smooth and provided everything we were looking for in a DJ service. This company is truly filled with professionals who work very hard and are dedicated to their craft. We had PJ for our wedding and words cannot describe how happy we were to work with him. We had a relatively small wedding but even so he had the majority of our guest dancing and having a great time. DJ Tim is the BEST! I learned of Magical Sound Entertainment through this website, actually. He was so much more reasonably priced than another company we got a quote from. When we called him to chat about his services, I felt like he really listened and cared about making our wedding a huge success. He was so great throughout the process - he went so far as to accommodate our request for a custom playlist for cocktail hour and dinner. Despite our indie style, he had all the songs! I was impressed. Once the party started, he played a variety of music that kept everyone dancing. Our dance floor was packed all night - and when last call rolled around, I couldn't believe how many of our guests were still dancing the night away! I would have paid double for the great service Tim provided and the fun our guests had dancing. We still have guests raving about how awesome the music was! Tim and his team were very responsive, helpful, and professional. They provided quality service at a price that fit well into our budget. They had great song lists and suggestions. Even though a couple of weeks before the wedding, the DJ assigned to us wasn't available, Tim and Aaron, our DJ, did a good job of making what could have been a stressful situatio, a non-issue. Tim was amazing! He kept the dance floor full all night! He was very organized and helped us select a great music list. He had asked if it was ok to take music requests (which he said yes) and that kept everyone dancing all night long! I especially enjoyed how he kept a schedule as of when when we were going to do first dance, garter/bouquet toss, and everything else. Tim was very nice, very prompt, professional, and had a very nice library of music. We allowed people to request music, and he did an amazing job with keeping things appropriate (per our request) and still pleasing everyone. The dance floor was never empty. We had everyone dancing from a 1 year old to an 80 year old on that dance floor. He delivered with all of our requests, and was so kind. We contacted MSE and were told by Tim that he was not available, but George was. The only issues I had with George was that we had made a timeline etc and when the parents and bridal party came in, he was supposed to announce their names, I even talked on the phone with him giving pronunciations to make sure they were said correctly. He played the correct song for their entrance, but never introduced them so we had to have them just walk in. Also, we gave him a must play list and while he played many of the songs on it, many of them were not played, some very important such as "our song" not being played to dance to. We spoke with him verifying there were not too many songs on the list. Other than that there was a small hiccup where he was taking requests and he did not choose the correct song they requested and it had very profane language in it, but that was quickly removed and was only a small issue. But George was an amazing guy to work with and well worth the money. My guests had a great time and most of the time he did a good job of judging the dance floor and playing music to keep people there. The mistakes made were minor mishaps on our wedding day and while things like "our song" not being played was a little disappointing, it FAR from ruined our day. We had an amazing time with George and would recommend him with more preparation. My critique of issues we encountered are not to sway you from working with him, only to identify the things needing worked on. Each couple chooses what is important on their wedding day, it is not always the same for everyone. So definitely I would have went over the timeline with him more to make sure we were on the same page and taken a moment during the reception to let him know we want to hear more form the must play list. But like I said, we enjoyed him, he even played a few more songs at the end of the night for the people who didn't want to stop partying in exchange for the guys helping him break down and load up. Tim was FANTASTIC! Could not recommend him enough. Our guests were on the dance floor all night! He was the most reasonably priced DJ we found as well. We had some special toasts and calls in that he handled like a pro. Loved the mix of music, and he worked with us for a special entrance and must have songs. We hired this DJ for our wedding. The planning process was excellent with all of the help and ideas they provided us to streamline everything. However, we were not very impressed with the quality of the service on our event date. The DJ forgot to play our entry song into the reception and then played the wrong song for our first dance and had to be corrected. Thankfully he had the correct song ready. We also had several complaints from guests that his announcements could not be understood and that he was not playing requests. The price was fairly inexpensive, however, so all in all I believe that the service we received was probably correct for the price we paid. More...

We were so pleased with DJ Tim Tatko. He was the life of our reception. If there's one advice I can give to all future brides planning a wedding, a DJ is vital. Make sure you create a budget for a DJ! We thought that was one expense we can cut but all our friends who've recently had weddings highly objected and thought it was a total mistake. Tim did an outstanding DJ performance at our New Year's Eve wedding! He was always happy and willing to accommodate our needs. He included music selection for all of our young and elder guests and kept the party moving the whole night. After meeting with several different DJ's, his rates were very reasonable and he backed it up with top notch service. He helped create an unforgettable night and a great party and I would highly recommend his services to anyone in need! He was quick with email correspondences and was on top of everything! He provided a great list of music to choose from and even got the one very old family traditional song we play at all of our weddings which normally we need to provide!
