We booked Layla to do a mini cake smash session for our son. The experience was perfect and she was super patient with a very weary 11 month old who wasn't sure what to do with the cake! Layla is super friendly and made us feel at ease - plus the photos came back quickly and are SO amazing! We have gotten tons of compliments on them already. I can't believe I haven't given Layla my 5 star rating yet - my excuse is being a first time mommy! Layla did our full maternity and full newborn shoot for my first pregnancy. Needless to say, this time in our lives was super special for my husband and I, as we'd been trying to conceive for many years. With that said, we had extremely high expectations. Layla did not disappoint. In fact, she surpassed all expectations. My husband is not one for photos, but she kept the maternity session so fun and light-hearted that he really got into it and we captured some amazing moments. She is so easy going and personable, which makes for such an enjoyable session. We had some complications after birth that led to my son being in NICU for a while...Layla was in constant contact with me during this time to make sure we could get our newborn session done in good timing. She also offered many words of encouragement that meant so much to me during a difficult time. During our newborn session, my son was quite fussy and not very cooperative. Layla was so patient and took her time to get all the shots I wanted - even went WAY over the standard time allotted for the session to make sure we captured this sweet little boy in all his glory. I am forever grateful for Layla and the most special memories she was able to capture on camera. We can't wait to see Layla again when my son has his mini sitter session and cake smash in the future! Layla is absolutely amazing! She made us feel very comfortable and is an expert at newborn photography. My little one slept most of the time, but she was very patient and professional the entire shoot. We are just in awe of the results! She was also very accommodating in planning the shoot, as things may change (due date, for example), so I would suggest booking in advance. In addition, my family and friends can't stop complimenting my photos. I would highly recommend her to capture these moments--I'm so glad I did! You won't be disappointed and worth the investment! I can’t believe how quickly time has flown by! We had our daughter’s newborn session with Layla in our home over 3 months ago and I have been meaning to write this review since then. We were exhausted new parents but Layla was very sweet and patient and made the session relaxing. We absolutely loved the photos and used them for the birth announcement and received many compliments. We've had other photographers take our son's pictures and none of them compare to the photographs she took. My son smiled for pretty much every photograph and she captured such precious moments!
!! It truly made it difficult to choose and not purchase every single one.
The only regret i have was not finding her sooner. I have seen the newborn photographs she has taken on her site and they are gorgeous!! She is extremely talented and the best at what she does!! Can't wait till we get our son's 1st birthday pictures taken with her soon!!

Completed my newborn shoot on Monday with Layla and have to say she goes above and beyond with the care she puts in to make sure everyone is comfortable, and the baby is safe and happy. I couldn't recommend her more.
