Dog and Horse Photographs
I come to your location and meet your animal/animals. I spend a little time with them without the camera at first so they feel calm and confident. With your help, we can guide your animal to look in particular directions as I catch the light in their eyes, which is the real secret to a heartfelt image. Using big glass lenses I don't have to stand too close to your animal and still I'm able to get incredibly close and intimate closeups of their eyes (the windows to their soul). Depending on the personality of the animal, I like to also get pictures of them in all kinds of poses and movements. If you want pictures of yourself with your animal, that's a lot of fun. Lifestyle photography is a more casual type of shooting than typical headshots or portraits.
