Lydia did a maternity shoot for us and it was wonderful! Not only were the pictures beautiful but she made my husband and I feel very relaxed so we didn't feel as posed and stiff in our shots. Highly recommend! :3

Lydia is wonderful to work with! She's great at suggesting poses when you're unsure what to do and she's always bringing the cutest props! I love the way Lydia edits her photos as well. I've had Lydia Shafer Photography capture my husband and I' s engagement and wedding photos! Her and her husband make a perfect team and are excellent at what they do. They are awesome people inside and out and are so reliable. They take their work very seriously but leave you feeling like you made new friends. Lydia was very easy to get a hold of from start to finish and always responsed very quickly. She was very organized and made wedding planning so much less stressful. She arrived on site several hours early to examine the area for the perfect photos and made sure she knew excatly what I wanted. Our photos were done and sent back to us within the week! Lydia did our engagement photos last week and my fiancee and I were blown away by how fun and special the experience was. Lydia spent time earlier in the day finding the most beautiful, enormous blooming trees in Bellefonte, and chose incredible places to shoot . My daughter and I did a Mother's Day mini session with Lydia this past weekend and I am so so in love with my photos! Sometimes photos can be a little awkward and both my daughter and I were nervous, but that quickly went away because Lydia is so sweet and genuine that you just feel like you can be your real self around her, and I think that shows in all of her photos .
