Chef Randy was INCREDIBLE! First and most importantly, his food is amazing!!! I turned to Thumbtack to get a quick response from a chef and Chef Randy was very quick to respond. Following an email, he then actually called me to discuss details of the event. Talking on the phone is a lost art and helps speed up the process so much. Within 24 hours we had the meal planned out, prices set, details done, etc... While this was a social event I was planning for, it's important to note that I plan events for my career so I like to work quick and get answers fast.

We hired chef to come into our VRBO in Vail for my friend's 40th birthday and everything went perfectly. Chef was communicative to me before heading out and then he and his assistant showed up in plenty of time. They were so mindful of staying behind the scenes when needed but also joining in the fun when we asked them to. Both very friendly and accommodating.

What an absolute treat it was to have someone cook and clean for us. And can I tell you, the burrata is a must!! As is the filet!! And bruschetta! All of it. Seriously, from start to finish everything was impeccable and I will most definitely be recommending Chef to anyone I can and will call again next time in Vail.

Chef Randy catered a beautiful retirement dinner in our home for one of our instructors. His food was amazing, his staff was courteous and helpful, service was impeccable. He arrived and made an entire plated meal for a party of ten and they have never been so spoiled by the amazing food. We are so thankful he made a special night even more amazing for our staff. Chef Randy was TOTALLY awesome! I hands down did not have any complaints. He prepared a dinner for my family and I (party of 5). ...I definitely respect him as a professional because he improvised (we stayed in an Airbnb so that explains itself). I will for sure book Randy again for any event I host that calls for a chef.

Chef Randy was a pleasure to work with. He provided several menus and dishes to choose from and it was easy to mix and match to suit our own flavors. He kept us up to date by text for his arrival. I hired Chef Randy for a dinner party for 6 in honor of my husband's birthday. Compared to going to a restaurant, hiring Chef Randy was more affordable and a much more intimate and memorable experience. I felt safer & socially-responsible by being at home instead of going into the public during a pandemic. And being at home made the whole experience SO much more comfortable. This dinner far exceeded my previous experiences hiring traditional caterers, who charge an hourly fee for lesser-quality food. The flat, affordable rate, and fully customized menu made it stress-free to plan and the excellent quality of the meal and service made for a 10/10 evening.

Before the dinner, Chef worked with me to create the menu of my husband's dreams and was very professional and responsive to my emails and phone calls. The night of the dinner, he and one server, Nate, arrived exactly on time and got to work comfortably in my kitchen. They were responsive to all the little needs that came up and even bailed me out by bringing extra ice! And they were both so friendly and kind! I felt like I had two foodie cousins taking over the kitchen during a holiday, and not at all like having contractors in my home who I couldn't get in the way of or interrupt. The dinner itself was impeccable - one guest claimed he could now cancel Christmas, because this was the best meal he would have all year. They left my kitchen spotless, so cleanup was a breeze. And the best part is, my husband has been going on and on about his "best birthday ever," and how he needs to step up his game for my next birthday!

These guys know their stuff. It was such a great time!! 4 course meal. Loaded!! We had Barramundi and sirloin as the main! ! They traveled way out of their way to make my wives birthday unforgettable!! I couldn’t be happier. Nor could the other 2 couples that joined us. They are still raving about it. Where do I begin! Chef Randy is unbelievable in his professionalism, flexibility, craft, design of food and doing everything possible to make ones experience a very happy and memorable one. It was my birthday and we were scheduled for Saturday but our flight was canceled and we couldn’t travel until the following day. I was very disappointed I could not come into town on my birthday but Chef Randy was flexible to adjust to the following day. The dinner was for myself and my husband. Chef Randy made some wonderful suggestions for diner and we requested some tweaking to a few items and he was more than willing to please. My request was for food that had some artistic quality and beauty but also bold flavors and higher end ingredients. We paid a slightly higher fee for those higher end ingredient and we were very happy we did so! Our meal consisted of 2 types of oysters with homemade mignonette, an unbelievable tuna tartare with a sauce he created made with wasabi paste,fresh orange juice, sesame oil and other “secret” touches. We had a delicious fresh salad with micro greens and robust tomatoes and other fresh vegetables with a homemade vinaigrette. Main dish I will simply say was out of this world! Maple-
bacon halibut with parsnips purée with roasted vegetables. The finishing touch was the dessert. A pannacotta layered with green tea, sautéed pears and drizzled chocolate. Can’t say enough but THANK YOU for a very memorable and amazing meal. Will defiantly use him again. More...
