At 8 months pregnant with my 5th baby and feeling anything but beautiful I decided I should take maternity photos. Can I just say this woman has a magical way with a camera and made me look and feel like a fertility goddess❤️ I’m so glad I chose her. The session was filled with the most incredible dresses, beautiful studio and patient photographer. My daughter just finished a session today with her that I know will make me cry. Monique Hoppe conducted a maternity shoot for me (and my husband) - using the New York City skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge as backdrops. We are very pleased with the images that came from the shoot and were impressed by Monique’s “process” for capturing the best looks and moments. She was a consummate professional and scouted the locations beforehand to determine what would work best in terms of lighting and composition. She was very punctual (including a 7am start time IN NEW JERSEY on the 2nd shooting day to capture the best light before bad weather set in). She came fully equipped with a camera and a high tech lighting wand that provided great light – allowing her to keep snapping pics during dusk and even after the sun had set. She even supplied three beautiful flowing gowns I wore in the pics (from her large selection of maternity dresses). We were also impressed by Monique’s direction for our poses and how quickly she was able to “get the shot” in various locations (with tourists and bystanders milling about and occasionally getting in the way). We were also impressed by her willingness to “get dirty” to get the best shot (i.e., laying on the ground and shooting “up” for the best view in the tight streets of Brooklyn Heights). We are hoping to book Monique to do another shoot once our son arrives in the spring. We’d highly recommend her for your maternity, post-natal or family photo shoot! More...

I had such an amazing maternity session with Monique this past weekend. She truly has a passion and a great eye for what she does. She is very patient and captures the most beautiful pictures. She even has a huge selection of beautiful maternity gowns to choose from. She worked with me to reschedule our photoshoot so my husband could be in it as well. Monique did a fabulous job on my maternity pictures! She has a real eye for what looks good on camera! She was very patient with my rambunctious 5-year-old on the beach. I'm usually not a fan of maternity pics, but I'm so glad that I gave them a shot. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful (even though I felt like a whale about to give birth on the sand)! More...

I absolutely enjoyed taking my maternity pictures with Monique. She was so attentive to my needs as I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time (being tired, feeling uncomfortable, needing water, etc). She also had excellent ideas as to where to take the pictures, she helped with styling the dress, making sure my hair and everything looked perfect, and even made sure my pose was on point. When I got the final product back I was amused by the pictures. I have had nothing but positive feedback on my pictures and I've only had them for a couple hours! They honestly look stunning! I would highly recommend Monique as she is the best photographer I've ever worked with. More...
