We arrived on December 23rd with an 8 month old and a reindeer costume to get some family photos.  Kathleen was amazing with our son.  She got him smiling and kept him engaged in the process.  Her energy was top notch and she did not mind appearing silly to get the best out of him.  We got some amazing photos from that session and we are grateful for her professionalism and her gift of working with the little ones! I'm a little concerned with the integrity of this website. I posted a review a few days ago about this business & now find that it has been moved & is not showing up.  Is this because it was a favorable review & YELP only posts negative?  I'm not sure I understand the way YELP works.  The 2 negative reviews that were there are still there but my favorable review is not showing.I have a 10 year old daughter.  Lundies Photography has been taking her pictures for the better part of that 10 years.  The staff are friendly, helpful, easy to work with, PROFESSIONAL, did I say FRIENDLY & will do everything in their power to ensure satisfaction.  They care about their clients & subjects.  I totally disagree with previous statements about 'junkieness'...it's a photography studio...you want props.  Every photographer will use props & they need to be close-at-hand for quick set turn-around.  When you're in the business of taking pictures of children, you're going to get some rejects...but Lundie & her staff always take more than enough that they get just the right one.  In fact, I find myself struggling to chose each time I go into the studio or do a location shoot.  It's my downfall...I want them all but of course, I don't need them all.  I've tried many competitors...Picture People, Portrait Innovations, Sears, Penneys...no one holds a candle to Lundies Photography.  The quality of their work is by far superior to any other.  Their prices are also very competitive.  Sure, you can go to Portrait Innovations & get a $19.95 deal but you're going to get 50 copies of the same pose.  Try going to one of the big named photographers in our area & check out their pricing.  One of my favorite shoots is the Santa shoot...you get beautiful shots with Santa, no long lines at the mall & these pictures are for framing...not some picture a mall employee prints off of printer for $25.  I've heard that YELP may not post this favorable review & if that's the case, it's a shame because I'm one satisfied customer!  Not only has Lundies taken my daughter's pictures, they've also taken family portraits for myself & my extended family.  I've also had many friends & co-workers very pleased with their work.  Quality, care & professional....no other business I'd rather trust with my memories.  My pictures mean the world to me. I haven't spent a lot of time in photography studios but this one seemed pretty run of the mill. The prices were average and the service was very good. The place itself is jammed packed with props and set make up which makes it  a little uncomfortable to be in as you feel like you are standing in the midst of a flee market/junkyard combination. But none the less, once the final prints of our pictures came out the end result belied the clutter surrounding us. More...

All my friends rave about Lundies. So I took my kids there and now I am raving! The girl took time and interest in my kids,before getting the best shots. I couldnt decide, whereas other places I barely got 1 shot that I liked. I used to think all studios were the same and I was always looking for the cheapest place. But at this studio, there is a difference- they were genuinely friendly and playful w/my kids even when I was selecting my prints. Finally, I found a studio that didnt run behind on my appt. and just snap the picture!! Plus, I really like all the different props, it was a good experience for my family and my kids said they couldnt wait to go back (how often does that happen)?! As a parent it takes alot of planning and work to get 3 kids in for pics. and Lundies made it worth it all!! More...

We went to Lundie's Photography since my children were small. We have had portraits made with Lundie's at the beach and pullen park. Everytime we are so pleased! I have taken my daughter to Lundies at least 5 times in the past 2 years. They are just great! I love their staff, I love their props, and the studio is great as well. They bring in live bunnies for Easter and have great decorations for fall and Christmas time as well. They are a traditional studio in the sense that they don't have digital photography, so what they shoot on their film is what you get. No touch ups here and there, No kind of air brushing going on. Their pictures are First Class. I have always been pleased, and I am going back to them hopefully next week to get my daughter's 06' Christmas Pictures taken. More...
