I typically only leave good reviews, but this just isn’t right. This appointment had a lot of buildup to it, and was for my daughter in major need to speak with someone. She was extremely nervous given the content of what she is going through. We walked into the building and we’re looking for suite 257 as listed. We were only able to find suite 200. We waited in that lobby for about 15 minutes and there was no receptionist. After about 15 minutes I called the number and Hero assured me it was the correct place. My daughter was nervous and needed to use the restroom so we walked down to the restaurant below. We went back to suite 200 to wait and the 4 chairs were all full. We went back downstairs and sat in the chairs below. I called Hero again and let her know we were just downstairs. She said they would not come that “far” to get us. She wanted my daughter and I to stand in the little lobby with no seating, which has literally no sign stating it is for a counselor. There are 15 other businesses in the building. We had no clue if we were in the right spot and my daughter is already nervous and just standing there having second thoughts now. Not welcoming for a child that is having a tough time. We both decided this was not how we thought this would go down, and she wanted to leave at this point and I felt the same way. I let Hero know we were cancelling and she instantly got combative and in a condescending way said she was still going to charge my card. She went from sounding like a sweet person to sounding like she wanted us to burn. Well I’m glad we got the hell out of there after Hero showed that this business has no compassion for a child dealing with issues that Hero probably would never understand. More...
