Kim photographed my first born for a newborn session in our home. She was so patient and kind and captured some of our favorite photos. She even brought the cutest outfit for her to wear. Our baby was fussy and wouldn't cooperate, but that did not phase Kim at all, and she was still able to get great shots. She was very prompt getting the images to us after the session. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being in the moment, going with the flow, adapting to changes, and knowing what your client wants. Just as a writer knows the end of the story before writing the whole thing, a photographer should visualize the end result before editing.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Who will be in the shoot? What location(s) would you like? What kind of event? What will you be using the photos for?
What do you love most about your job?
I love capturing the moments for my clients and providing them with memories for years to come! I also love watching my families grow up.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography is my passion. Why not do what I love?
