I've lived here for three years and this is the best Chinese !!!  I got sesame beef without the sesames (it was AMAZING, better then PF Chang's)! !!  The egg roll and chicken fried rice were all YUM!!  Hubby got Happy Family, egg roll and pork fried rice!!!!  They gave us 4 crab rangoons!!  Very friendly staff !!!!  Can't wait to try another dish, although it's hard to beat the sweet and crunchy sesame beef. I got rid of Facebook so just wanted to write a new review on Google because this place deserves for the kudos. We have been ordering from Li’s for maybe a year and a half now if not 2 years. I regret not finding them sooner! Li’s is not the Chinese food that you’re going to find at those Chinese take out places that are on every block - they’re way better. You will find familiar dishes and new dishes on the menu. Make sure you read the menu because the familiar dishes may be done in a different style than you’re used to (which isn’t a bad thing). My favorite is the spicy salt shrimp which is worth every penny. The portion is great and the flavor/breading/size of shrimp is phenomenal. Even the fried rice tastes better here...we love it so much. I got my family hooked...sometimes I order from my grandma’s house...they delivered the food and recognized me - haha. It’s little things like that...friendliness, open to feedback, kindness, building a relationship...that make a small business go far. This is my favorite Chinese spot in the area, possibly ever. It's not just because of the food , which is delicious but also the vibe. Hands down the place to pick up or dine in. Low key, comfortable and great food. Everyone is super sweet, attentive and make you feel like family even if it's just a pickup and go scenario. Now about the food, they have so many options I highly recommend you check out their menu, it's slightly overwhelming because you want to order and try everything. This is NOT your typical order-at- the counter Chinese restaurant. Yes, they do have the typical and expected menu items but be prepared to wait as they prepare your food fresh. Their dinner combos come with either egg drop soup or egg roll, white steamed rice or fried rice ( no extra charge for the fried) and a nice portion of the entree. I ordered hot n sour in place of egg drop for a small up charge and the spicy chicken with fried rice. I also ordered General Tso's chicken with fried rice and the egg soup. Two orders of chicken fried rice and crab ragoons finished out the order for four people. I don't normally care for General Tso's - usually mushy and greasy and too sweet. Li's was crispy, the chicken tender( and all white meat) and the sauce was flavorful but not too sweet. The spicy chicken was tender, full of veggies and the sauce mild. I would order either again with minor alterations- asking for more heat! The crab ragoons were fried perfectly and the filling was flavorful. They made the 15 minute drive home in good shape without becoming hard or soggy. The hot and sour soup average, full of mushrooms and tofu but the broth was neither spicy or sour. Those that had the egg drop soup said it was good.  The reason for the four stars was the entree fried rice was average and those who had it said they wouldn't ordered it again. For our next visit we plan to try the egg rolls, a vegetarian dish and a noodle dish. I will say I've wanted to try this place for over a year and  because of the wait time for an hour or more went somewhere else. This evening I had time to kill- it was worth the wait I had ( not an hour!) and will definitely make this my go to Chinese restaurant. Worth my 15 minute drive as well!! I've been two different times lunch&dinner and there food is so good! I did have to wait a while both times for my food (pick up not delivery) but one of the times the chef in back gave us a free egg drop soup for the wait. And i think people need to keep in mind this isn't a (10 minute) chinese restaurant. Good food takes time to make and my food was very hot and fresh when i recieved it. Love this place. Not sure what Valerie’s review is about but clearly just hates food. She should probably stick to not reviewing food, in all honesty, because she’s bad at it. Can't imagine I haven't put my review down for them! Today is the day, yes! I am a picky eater especially once it comes to Asian food as I am Asian who could cook something good myself. Came across their restaurant accidentally a while ago and couldn't leave my authentic yummy Chinese carving away from them. Their food is crazy GOOD! As you would see several of my pictures with their goodies here. Food is wonderful and service is amazing. I get mouth watering even thinking about their food while I am writing the review. OMG! We love this place!  We were looking for a good weeknight take out Chinese place and Li's has been delicious every time.  Love their fried rice and believe it or not, the French fries! Lol. The folks running the restaurant are really friendly. We have had Chinese from several local restaurants and this has been by far THE BEST Chinese food we’ve had! In fact the best general tso chicken and egg drop soup that I’ve had in YEARS, if not EVER! As long as the quality, freshness, and flavors stay about the same.... I will never eat Chinese elsewhere. After eating Chinese from Li’s Chinese Kitchen, anywhere else would just be an even bigger disappointment than it already was. No I have not been compensated for my review.
