Jay took our engagement and wedding photos. He was extremely professional. We've never done or booked a photographer before but he's very polite and pretty much have considered him one of the family. Where do I begin From the moment we met Jay we knew we were in for something special. Now I'm the kind of guy who emailed and interviewed 50+ photographers before narrowing down our top choices that would fit our style and budget, so when we finally sat down with Jay it was a no-brainer. He made us feel so at ease when we met for the first time that it felt like we have been friends for a long time. Especially when planning one of the most important days in our lives, it was so important to establish the right relationships with all our vendors, and Jay was no exception. When we met Jay we immediately had that connection. And over the course of the year we were so happy that Jay continued to exceed our expectations, accommodating our needs by following up with us from time to time making sure we were taken care of.
When we first met Jay, he showed us his portfolio of physical prints, online portfolio, and even a few events he was currently editing on his laptop. We were absolutely impressed with it all. His style, his perspective, his ability to capture the emotions and moments you hope to keep forever are the kinds of pictures he and his team strive for. That's when we knew he would be the right choice to shoot our special day.
From choosing the photo packages to the engagement shoot and to the wedding day, Jay couldn't have been a better decision for us. He accommodated our few requests and served us in a way that made us feel that we were getting what WE wanted, and not just what he wanted for us. And overall, the expressions, the emotions, and moments he caught were true and genuine.. the smiles and laughs were real, the tears weren't queued, and the joy we experienced were honest and authentic. Not to mention the compliments we received from friends and family to this day.

Jay Andrino of Lightzone photography was referred to me by a friend of mine. I was shopping around for a while when I finally booked him. He was very friendly and gave great ideas for shooting on location. I have to add that he was extremely patient as my 3year old son was a handful. I was worried that my photos weren't going to come out well; however, our photos came out beautiful! I was looking forward to our wedding day because I knew that those photos would come out great. Needless to say, the memories he captured from our wedding were absolutely priceless. The wedding pictures were beyond beautiful, and when my friends and family saw them they were in awe.

From day one, Jay was incredibly easy to work with. I shopped for a couple photographers but Jay was quick to respond and knows his craft very well that a bride would be so happy to hear his plan and vision for your day. ......I basically felt like I didn't have to worry about anything because he has everything down. My husband and I first met Jay right at our Engagement shoot; we were running incredibly late(dropped off our kid with a friend and fought with LA traffic). We felt so bad but the minute we met Jay, he made us feel so comfortable, he did not by any means rush us as he tried to catch the sunset that went by(so quickly). We did that shoot in less than hour, it was unbelievable. But he knew exactly what he was doing and I was just blown away with his work with the very little time we had.

Our wedding date was originally set on a weekend, but due to some circumstances, we had to move it in the middle of the week. I was afraid he wouldn't be able to make it, but Jay shuffled things around and made things happen. I don't think anyone can get any more flexible than that.

On our wedding day, my bridal party was impressed by how he handled everyone......he was able to catch the most candid events but delivered and captured it in a such a beautiful way. Again, everyone was comfortable with him; some people find picture taking awkward but his energy rubs off on his subjects. I have a four year old son that just woke up from a nap and wasn't in the mood, but Jay has a way with kids and he got my son to give him a (genuine) smile and his photos turned out to be so wonderful. If you're a parent, you'll understand how priceless that is.

Overall, our photos were incredible and he documented our day so perfectly that his work is worth every cent. Nothing can replace captured memories. I cannot thank Jay enough. All I can say is, he definitely knows his craft well and I look forward to seeing more of his work. More...

Just had my 3rd photo shoot in the last year with Jay. He gets 5 ⭐️ because he has major patience and the quality of his work is one of a kind. I have a 2 and a half year old who makes it difficult to work with yet Jay captures great photos. I also have an 8yo who likes the camera but Jay helps him love the camera and also captures awesome photos. My family portraits have always been beautiful! My husband and I aren't really picture taking people but Jay convinced us to add on an engagement photo shoot as well.
