Nick and Austin do great work. They are easy to communicate with and their attention to detail and dedication to craft is top notch. We hired them to do framing and some finishing work for an old house we were converting into a restaurant. They did an impressive job of jumping through the many hoops of bringing an old house up to commercial code. Their meticulous reading of our permitted plan ended up saving us time and money, not only for the portion of work that they did, but for the entire project. Nik and his crew did an incredible job on my fence. I'm already getting compliments. They were so easy to work with and kept me informed on a lot of the details, explaining why they were doing things the way they were, but not talking down to me at all. I joke that I hesitate to write the glowing review they deserve because I want them to remain available for any other project needs I have. But they really do deserve a glowing review. I never write reviews on Yelp, but Lifetime Builders deserve ten stars. We hired them to build a pergola, and Nik was great, and the process was easy from start to finish. Communication was seamless, we were able to do all our planning and paperwork over email. I got a couple of quotes from  different companies, but none were as detailed and responsive as Lifetime Builders. Nik was able to come out on a Saturday to plan the project and get information to give a quote; he asked questions and gave suggestions that showed he was listening to our project needs, and gave us options to make the pergola more affordable (eg. treated wood instead of cedar). They were able to schedule the project very quickly, within two weeks of our first contact. The project took a mere two days - one day to tear the old pergola down, one day to put the new pergola up. The whole time they were at our house they were respectful of the yard and our space, they kept everything neat and cleaned the work site every day.  The entire experience smooth, and the finished pergola is strong and beautiful. They were even able to save a climbing rose, and wove the slats of the new pergola between the vines. We could not have asked for a better contractor or a better result. More...

Nick and Austin are pros.  They helped us build a deck and patio roof on the back of our home in SE.  They spend the time to get things right, frequently check in to make sure everyone's on the same page, offer good design ideas, and they take pride in what they do - which means they spend time on the details, even when working on a fixed fee.  As just one example, they sent a bunch of materials back to the yard that had arrived with scratches - the materials were apparently good enough for the lumber yard, but not for Nick and Austin, which we appreciated.  On time, done right, efficiently priced.  Hard to beat.
