My fiancé (now husband) and I each wrote down three things that were important to us. One of mine was the photographer. For me, I wanted someone that could capture the moments of the day in stunning ways. I scoured through photographers for days but I kept coming back to Lauren’s page. Obviously her photos are gorgeous but she’s also great at communicating. My husband and I aren’t great in front of the camera but Lauren made us feel comfortable and guided us to poses. Lauren is a very skilled and experienced wedding photographer and that shows in every one of her photos. Lauren photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding and we love all of our photos. She was very professional and easy to work with and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We didn't feel like we were positioned artificially and she would give us tips or prompts to help us look natural in front of the camera. We allocated over 3 hours for photos on our wedding day with a first look and the results were magical. We received so many unique shots because we gave her time to be creative and we received so many compliments from friends and family. Lauren was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and I'm so incredibly grateful that she was! Lauren cares deeply about getting great photographs for her couples. Lauren is absolutely amazing. She was extremely punctual, very helpful in choreographing our timelines for the day, and the sweetest person ever. Her photos are perfect and capture the beauty of candid moments. I looked through 300 portfolios of Indy area photographers before falling in love with Lauren’s Work. She is extremely reasonably priced. Choosing Lauren to be our photographer for our wedding and engagement session was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made! We found her online by looking at local photographers in Lafayette. After looking at her Instagram and Facebook page, I knew she was the one I wanted to capture our day. Her pictures were raw, emotional, and honest rather than overly scripted and stiff. It was also clear that she had an eye for choosing some of the best spots to take pictures. My husband and I have never done a professional photography session, but Lauren made both our engagement session and wedding day so easy. She has such a fun personality and makes you forget that there is a camera around. Lauren also shared tons of different tips to help our wedding day go smoothly and was super helpful with recommendations on where to take pictures to get some great shots. This was the only vendor that I was dead set on getting. I found Lauren through the explore page on my Instagram because one of my mutual friends followed her. Then my husband told me he went to high school with her. I fell in love with her portraits in nature and loved the fact that she was local. We did our engagement photos with her as well as our wedding photos. She braved the cold Indiana winter (32F and snowing) to take our engagement photos. She has a really good eye for finding places to shoot that you would not think of. She was able to coach us into poses because we may have had no idea what we were doing. The pictures were very natural and really looked like us. She kept us laughing all day! Lauren is a great communicator. She would send us emails about ways to make our wedding photos turn out better and general tips about the day. For the wedding day, it is very helpful to have the first look before the ceremony. You want to give Lauren time to work her magic! Lauren was a joy to have with us all day. Her turnaround time for photos was very impressive. After looking at our shots we were so thrilled! Lauren is a sweet friend of ours, and it was so fun having her take some photos of our wedding! Picking a great wedding photographer was really important to us and we are so happy we decided to have Lauren photograph our wedding day! We had seen the work she did for some friends of ours and loved it! We wanted someone who could capture those candid special moments, not just posed and cheesy smiles, and Lauren did just that! She had such a positive and laid back attitude it made taking the photos so much fun! She was also a trooper in the almost 90 degree heat during our photo session. Picking our wedding photographer was one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding. I looked at/emailed probably 15-20 photographers prior to choosing Lauren. Initially, I was choosing her because of a few reasons, her reasonable price, photos that look stunning, she responded quickly to my emails and took time to meet with me to discuss her photography background/point of view prior to us booking with her. I didn't realize how much her energetic, but laid back personality would help my fiancé and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. My fiancé and I are about the least photogenic couple known to man and she made us look like we have been doing photoshoots for years. How would I describe our engagement session? Snow and subzero temperatures are probably the best words. Even though the weather was less than appealing to be out in for 2 hours, Lauren was eager to suffer through the weather with us and because of that, we have absolutely stunning pictures. Lauren took the pictures for my brother's wedding and did a fantastic job! She was tons of fun and had great ideas, but let us add our own style to all the pictures. I've been in quite a few weddings and have always dreaded the pictures. Lauren made it fun and was always laughing and very organized. We ADORE Lauren!! She is so wonderfully easy and comfortable to work with, and gave so much information and advice for the whole planning process. Lauren is professional, sweet, real, hilarious, helpful, insightful, and absolutely worth every penny. We were laughing all throughout our engagement session and our wedding day :) She is so in-tune with what means the most to you, and she captures it all so perfectly. Beyond all of this (like you really need more, right?), she gives you a USB of ALL of your photos and printing rights, ALL of which have been edited by her, and recommends her favorite places for you to have prints made. WOW Lauren was worth every penny. We had Lauren take both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. Besides the absolutely stunning photos (seriously, my friends were trying to get me to start a blog or post them to pinterest), Lauren edits every single photo from your sessions with her and puts them on a flash drive for you to have ALL of them. I didn't even know that was a thing photographers did!? Lauren took the time to get to know both me and my (now) husband so that we felt natural and comfortable around her (and we really did!). She has a fun, light, flexible personality which is exactly what you want out of any vendor on your wedding day. She went above and beyond just being a photographer for us. She gave advice about timelines (that I'm SO glad we followed!) and even bustled my dress when there was no one else around. But obviously the main point here is that she does phenomenal work. I look back at our engagement pictures and wedding pictures and I feel all the things that I felt those days. Her pictures really allow you to remember moments that may have slipped from your memory in the most beautiful way possible. I LOVE my pictures, and so does everyone I know. Lauren took our engagement and wedding photos and she was wonderful! We never felt awkward in front of the camera, she set up specific shots but was also able to capture the moments in between. She was extremely quick getting us our photos after each event. One of my favorite things about Lauren's packages is getting all of the photos she took, not just the ones she liked.
