Great place to learn martial arts. Â Master Chung is a true professional who instructs both kids and adults. Â If your child is interested in martial arts and true martial arts including discipline and self-esteem then this is the go-to place. Â If you are just after a blackbelt then go to the park district or find a kiddie karate place but if you want your child or you to learn something greater then this is the place. My son has always had problems in school and with his ADHD, he's been a whirlwind of trouble. I enrolled him last year, think it was in June and the one thing I truly loved about Master Chung, he didn't put up with my son's behavior and in no time had my son well disciplined and today as a result of his tough teaching my son is doing great in school, much more able to stay on task and I am very grateful for Master Chungs dedication to his students. My 3 year old daughter has been attending class with Master Chung for about 4 months now, and she absolutely LOVES coming to taekwondo each week. Master Chung has created a nurturing, yet disciplined studio that demands respect and hard work in a way that makes it incredibly fun and engaging for his students. Master Chung has been training my daughter for over 6 years. She came to him at age 5 with low muscle tone and balance issues. I am a big fan of Master Chung & Lakeview Martial Arts. Â My children (a 5 yr. old boy & 8 yr old girl) have enjoyed taking Tae Kwon Do classes with him this year. Â He is a fantastic teacher and cares a great deal about his students and their families. Â He teaches much more than just TKD... he teaches discipline, self control, manners, how to be a good person and a good citizen. Unlike other lessons that my children took, they are well prepared for every belt test during the class, no need for me to help them prep for the tests. Â Additionally, I have found the other students, senior belts & parents to be respectful, nice, caring people. Great for building confidence, coordination and of course developing self defense skills. More...
