This D-Rass deli is super cute and if I lived nearby, I'd come here frequently. Â The menu is on chalkboards and there might be seating for 20 or so people. I went to order a number of sandwiches for family and friends and got to wait there. You should know that with the open kitchen it does get warm in there, which is pretty nice when there is a nip in the air.The entrance is in the elbow of the building. Don't try to go in the event space because you probably won't get in and you don't want to miss out.I ordered the Italian and it was awesome. If you get the opportunity to eat there, I'd recommend it. The sandwich/sub is toasted, so by the time I got back and delivered our sandwiches, it was just warm. I wanna start of by saying THANK YOU. Laurie and Lisa worked with our venue coordinator to make our wedding day beautiful, fun, exceptional. I cant imagine what it would have been like if they weren't apart of it. They are incredibly professional and have a lot of experience with weddings. On the day of the wedding they did so much, were so organized, worked so well with the other vendors, from the set-up until after clean-up, I did not have to worry about much. My wedding day was better than i even imagined. Communication was so easy and open, they listened to us, what we wanted and made it happen, even made African food for my rehearsal dinner that we all loved. Chef Dillon was also amazing. The food was incredible and the service from the entire team was incredible. My husband and i cant say enough great things. Our wedding was so perfect everyone was so happy, especially George and I. La Cuisine catered our wedding. We had a pig roast. The food was incredible, maybe some of the best pork I’ve ever had. They have a wide selection of sides and dishes to choose from and EVERYTHING they had was delicious. But the food wasn’t even the best part—the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. One of the absolute angels working our wedding walked us through the Buffett first and made our plates for us. She made sure I got the little brown toasty spots on my Mac and cheese. I had the privilege of eating La Cuisine food for 5 days, 3 times a day due to them being catered for a retreat event of ours in the mountains. I was impressed with presentation, service and quality. I enjoyed the taste and freshness of the food very much. To top it off, the selflessness of Dylan and Laurie to serve us even in a blizzard was much appreciated, for they didn't let bad weather stop them. I recently stopped by D-Rass Deli to get a sandwich before heading home to Grand Junction. I ordered a beer brat and was pleasantly surprised to receive a freshly grilled masterpiece. It had whiskey grilled onions with a delicious special gourmet sauce, fresh grill toasted roll and a refreshing watermelon & fresh vegetable side salad.....I would rate the food here as the best deli between Denver and Grand Junction! Coming back to add another review - I had written one before after speaking with Laurie and Dillon about helping cater some aspects of our football camp. The camp is done. Now time to react. These guys were the bomb. The food was amazing - satisying 140 teenage football players can be a challenge, and these guys rose to, exceeded and accepted all aspects of the challenge. It was a little bit of an adventure because it was our first time catering any part of camp, plus we had some snafus with not being able to contact a coach for awhile - but these guys rolled with it, came through and provided amazing. To the point that if I ever need food catered, even down here in Highlands Ranch where I live, I will truly consider seeing what they can do for my event. As busy as the La Cuisine team was in preparing for events that they were catering tonight, I still had my sandwich and delicious Tomato Basil soup within a matter of minutes. Laurie, Dylan and their team are amazing! La Cuisine catered a monthly chamber mixer and the menu was fantastic. They brought a meat ball sandwich station with fresh mozzarella, grilled peppers and onions, delicious meatballs, an anti-pasta platter with a huge variety of meats, cheeses and vegetables. We planned our son and daughter-in-law's wedding from New York State. The venue (Evergreen Lakehouse) gave us a list of caterers. After talking to several we decided on La' Cuisine after a tasting in October of 2017. Laurie and her staff are the best! Our event went off without a hitch and Laurie was able to accommodate last minute changes without a hiccup. Servers and Bar staff did an outstanding job and were friendly and accommodating. Howdy - we were cruising around one day and came across this small deli - stuffed behind a gas station ad a few the unmovable objects. Make a long story short - we met the owner - great lady- we hired her to cater our wedding  - everything she did was first class - food was a good example of fabulous - her staff was the best - the cost of everything totally  fit our needs.
