I work in the area sometimes and have passed by so many times telling myself I want to try it. I did today, I ordered 2 Vegetarian tacos, 2 Carne Asada & 1 Breakfast Chorizo burrito. I had the breakfast burrito for myself and it was amazingly delicious. Spot on with the amount of chorizo, egg, potatoes & cheese. I really love all the options here. I was able to try some new meats, good chorizo, and my wife could try some new fish and veg tacos too (cactus was yum! ). Tamale wasn't bad and I loved their Taco salad, but tacos are the main draw for sure. Huge tacos... Good friendly staff who serve out great dishes. The Food Truck was stationed near Issaquah Senior center when we ordered from them. Wow. Tacos great, horchata great but the family that runs this cute cute joint is the best. Low and behold I dropped everything I ordered trying to juggle the tray, hot sauce and doggy. First this is a "Taco Truck" not a walk in Restaurant. We parked next to the taco truck and once we started the order with the very rude cashier she told us to move our car, or she would not service us. Apparently, the business next to the taco truck won't allow "Taco Truck" customers to park next to the taco truck. At any rate not only was the cashier very rude to us but also to other customers. Further the food was not your typical Mexican Tacos. Their tacos were just meat and potatoes in a corn tortilla. The food was very bland with no taste and the tacos were very expensive. We ordered 6 Tacos and 1 Burrito and two drinks which cost us over $70$$$$. Further keep in mind this is out of a "Taco Truck" not a Mexican Restaurant. This is probable of the best taco places on the eastside. The flavor, portions, execution all fits together. We recently came out on a hot summer day having the taco craving. The fish taco comes out huge longer than my hand. They add salsa on top with the fresh lemon top it's one of the best fish tacos I've had. The shrimp with mushrooms is my next favorite. This one came with onions and potatoes. It has also the crema white sauce and rug can add green Chili salsa or red spicy salsa of your choice if you want more heat. While the fish one had the crispy crunch and freshness, the shrimp and mushrooms taco is all about savory flavor with a punch. My partner got the spicy pork taco, fish, and a braised beef version. I am a huge fan of burritos and tacos. Having lived in California for a time, and traveled the US southwest and Mexico often, I have enjoyed my fair share of both from many different businesses. I can say that hands down La Chingona has some of the best burritos and tacos that I have ever had. We have tried all of the different meat options as well as the burrito, taco and even taco salad styles. All of them are excellent! I have not had a single meal that failed to impress. From how flavorful and well seasoned each meat option is to the grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms and other toppings inside (depending on your order) to the rice and beans, everything tastes amazing. The portions are also quite generous and you will not be disappointed in any way. They often have several people lined up, especially around lunchtime, but they get through their orders reasonably quickly so your overall wait is not too long. Came here for lunch with a friend. They had a big menu to choose from and had a lot of vegetarian items to choose from. I had 2 al pastor taco, 1 lengua taco, and 1 chicken and red sauce tamal. The al pastor tacos were pretty good. It had huge pieces of pastor AND potatoes and onions. I've never had potatoes in a taco before. It was very filling although the potatoes weren't cooked all the way. The lengua taco was more to try to see if I still didn't like lengua and indeed I did not. It came with onions and cilantro toppings. It was tender, but lengua is just not my jam. The tamal-there was a good chicken to masa ratio, but the masa was dry. It was still very tasty but it was crumbly and dry. The hot salsa was hot and sooo good!!! I wish they had chips so I could dip it into the salsa. I definitely want to come again and try other items. The fish tacos hands down it the best we have had in this area/state. The portion is big so 1-2 tacos are plenty. Ordered the Lengua taco too. Ordered last minute a large order of fish tacos for a graduation celebration. Everything was packaged well, they provided some great sauce and salsa to go with the tacos and it was some of the best tacos I've had. I've been coming to the gym across the street for years and finally tried this taco joint. Didn't realize how huge the tacos were so I ordered three but it was a lot of food. Ended up taking one home. All 3 tacos were super delicious. My favorite was the carne asada, but the chicken was awesome and super juicy! My husband also loved everything he ordered. The salsa was super spicy but flavorful. I've never had roasted potatoes in tacos before and that definitely made it much more filling. They really pack the tacos with a lot of meat and the tortillas are bigger - 5". I thought they would be the 2.5-3" tacos but these are double the size! If you're super hungry, 2 would really fill you up and 3 would probably stuff you a ton. They do have tables to dine in (open space) with Mexican folklore: luchadores, catrinas, piñatas, etc. (No restrooms though, as any food truck.)They're super friendly and will answer any of your questions if you're not familiarized with the menu. I really can't tell you how long I have been wanting to eat here but just never made the stop. I drive past this taco truck every morning on the way to work. Yesterday my boyfriend stopped here after a hike and brought me an al pastor burrito. It was HUGE and was delicious! The burrito had so many fillings that worked so well together: al pastor, rice, beans, onions, and pineapple. The pineapple against all the salty in the burrito was such a nice touch. Today in the morning we decided to go for breakfast. We ordered breakfast burritos. I ordered mine with al pastor and my boyfriend ordered his with carne asada. The breakfast burritos have egg, cheese, and potatoes inside along with your choice of meat. Again they did not disappoint; they were big and delicious. Best tacos I've had in WA since moving from Northern California. Lots of options to choose from. I tried the Que Me Vez (marinated pork, grill beef steak) and the Choriqueso. The spicy habanero red sauce (in the red bottles) is terrific if you like added heat! The outdoor seating when it's nice weather can't be beat. This place isn't fancy but definitely authentic!
