About

I graduated college in 2018 with a BA in film and new media. My full-time position is as a sports reporter and photographer, but have photography experience in lots of other areas. I have shot baptisms, indoor and outdoor candids, individual/ group shoots (senior photos/ pre-prom), and official graduation ceremonies at schools like SUNY Albany, Pace University and more.

Q&As

There are many different kinds of photography, but having a plan is the key to all of them. Graduations and sports are fast-paced, so being prepared for the event you're getting into is critical. During events with a decreased tempo, it's important to take your time and to fully understand what the client wants.

What is the date, time and duration of the project?
How many people are going to be involved?
Are you looking for digital files, print, or both?

The ability to capture moments that people can keep forever.

To have more flexibility and creative control over my work.

I'm going to ask questions to find out exactly what clients want and I'm going to get it right. As a recent college grad, I'm not going to pretend to be the most experienced photographer out there, but I'll put the work in to make sure every customer is satisfied.

Services

If a parent or coach would like pictures of their player or team in action, this is the area that I have the most experience in.

The most common senior portraits are with a cap and gown, sports portrait, with siblings, a business-professional look and a more casual look. Other than sports portraits, the others can be indoors or outdoors, at a location of your choosing. For sports, it's best to take those pictures at the school's home location.

You know those large group photos that parents always post on Facebook the night of prom? It's great to have a photographer there instead of doing it with your cell phone. Now, COVID may put events like these at risk, but if they do happen (or you want to pretend that it did), we can work out all the details.

From a full family photo, to kids or couples, I've got you covered. Keep in mind, I don't work out of a studio, so these kinds of projects would need to have a preset location. A park is usually a good idea for these and a playground would be a cool shot for young kids.

While I don't work out of a studio, there are still plenty of options for creative, yet professional, pictures you can take for work or LinkedIn. I am able to edit images for a greater choice of backgrounds.

Obviously this is a day couples would like to remember forever. I'd like to help you make that happen. I'll work with you to figure out exactly what your plans are and how we can maintain the surprise, while getting the best angles for expressions of emotion.

Prices from the companies that shoot commencement ceremonies are absurd (I know, I've worked for one). The pictures may also be lacking in quality, due to the volume. Whether it's at home, the school or another site, get the entire family together and take some pictures with the grad in the cap and gown and the diploma on or near graduation day.

If you have an event coming up, but you don't see it listed in the options here, I'm more than willing to listen to what your needs are and I'll be honest with you about whether I'd be a good fit.

Whether it's a Sweet 16 or the big 5-0, lets work out the details and make it an event to remember.

Who doesn't like a great photo of their pet to show off on Instagram or for a frame... It takes some patience, but I'll get some shots together of you and your best friend that you'll have forever.
