Krista is a professional photographer with a passion and eagle-eye instincts for portraits, events and journalism, with an emphasis on her love of equestrian life. After 10 years in a career as a master darkroom printer in Los Angeles, she went back and completed her BFA at Otis College of Art & Design in 2007. The digital transition was a bit tough for this film lover, but she applies the same passion now in her digital work and has grown to appreciate the unlimited beauty of what can be created.
Growing up under the strict discipline required to become an Olympic gymnast, Krista invests the same steady resolve in her photography, from beginning to end. She makes all of her clients feel at ease, and allows for the creative collaboration between them. She loves to capture movement and unique fleeting moments, using light to yield striking results. As a photographer, she brings her artist's imagination and keen visual aesthetic to all portrait sessions. She sees each client as the individuals they are and captures their essence with her intuitive vision. She gives everyone she photographs her undivided attention and care during each session. She loves what she does and feels blessed to be able to use her special skills to make clients feel confident and happy with their time and investment.
