With my younger brother headed to Australia and all of us together for one last hurrah, Kirk came in and captured some great photos of our family. It was a windy and cold day out at the fields and Kirk was very laid-back and flexible with our requests. What I loved most was how well he did with the kids (although he might have thought we adults were tougher to work with wink emoticon )! Kirk Grant is THE BOMB. He dealt with the bugs, humidity, crying babies, and an irritable husband. These were not only the 1st pictures we've had done as a family of four but the 1st pictures we've ever had made, other than selfies. I'm so proud of them! Kirk was awesome! He had to deal with my very large family of over 10 people with 4 kids under 5 and he was so patient and fun! The photoshoot was so much fun and we didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable at any time. He wasn't going to leave until he got the perfect shots, (which he did). His commitment was also beyond imaginable since just a few days before our shoot he had a ski accident and broke multiple ribs and other injuries! We started the photo shoot with a hand shake and ended with a hug. (That is saying a lot for me, I don't really hug people). Kirk was great to work with. Living in Illinois and never visiting Colorado before, Kirk was able to capture everything we asked for and even more. He was extremely prompt with communication and went over and beyond with the locations. He was extremely flexible with timing of the photo shoot and even suggested meeting up a few hours later to get sunset pictures..a rare occasion for a photographer to ask to take more photos when the time was up.
