Jawan at KDBC helped my startup dog grooming business so much. He created a stunning website that I get compliments on all the time! It was important for me to have my Articles of Organization done as well and he was able to write that up for me! I received lots of great knowledge and he was easy to bounce ideas off of. What do you love most about your job?
I believe I speak for all of the Dream Team members when I say, having the privilege to serve and support America's small business owners every day has been vocationally and spiritually fulfilling. Since 2020 we have consulted and managed a little over a hundred business owners from various walks of life and, have seen a reflection of ourselves in every one of them. They are the dreamers, the ones who set out against the odds and certainly far easier careers and embark on the ultimate journey of self-discovery- starting a business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Born as a direct response to ballooning gentrification, King's Dream Business Consulting was established following being laid off from a national, Silicon Valley started that had raised over $400M in investment. The company laid us off in a 4-minute phone call. There was no warning that the company was even struggling. I was reminded of how replaceable I was in a multimillion-dollar conglomerate, and liberated to grow my side business which was working with local business owners to create growth strategies.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose King's Dream if they are tired of being "talked at", and would like to try a corporate alternative to business services. We don't do templates or perpetuate aged, inaccessible theories and concepts. All of our support services are distinct to the individual client, industry, and the client's goals for their company. Our role as Dream Team members is to amplify and advocate for our clients to ensure no one, including themselves, stands in the way of the success of their business and what small businesses represent.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Like most firms I'm sure, we have moved all of our operations to the virtual space. Excluding our local retainer and project-based clients who stop in the office, masked, on scheduled appointments to meet with masked/vaccinated staff members. No one on the team was told to get the vaccine, it was something we all chose as individuals and I am satisfied with the outcome.
