Tonight was the first day back to working out after too long of a hiatus. I went to the Butts and Guts class, led by Katie O. I was able to keep up but I was still challenged. I could feel the burn during and am feeling it now. I love that even though I made it through the class, there’s room for improvement and to grow. It was nice to feel like I got a great workout without feeling discouraged or defeated. Katie is receptive and is skilled in her teaching. She has a great connection with the class. Kinetic Arts Tucson is a pole fitness, aerial arts, dance and aerobics studio like none other. The vibe is arty and eclectic, which really seems to help people from diverse experiences (and/or no experience) within the fitness and performance arts world feel at home. There’s a warm family vibe here, kids are welcome to play in the lounge area while parents take classes and there’s a kids pole class on Tuesday’s. The fitness classes make this studio accessible to anyone who wants to train outside a typical gym setting. A new student 3-class pass is only $23 dollars so there’s really nothing to lose! The only thing I had a hard time with was realizing that pole is a serious workout and that it takes dedication. It seems like anyone can progress with enough commitment! I suggest all students come at least once a week to build strength, knowledge and skills! More...

By far the most welcoming, inclusive, supportive team of aerial arts teachers in Tucson! All the instructors are skilled with years of movement experience in various backgrounds. I love this place! The staff provides excellent and skilled instruction in a safe and welcoming environment. The studio is clean and spacious and is in a great location in downtown Tucson with easily accessible parking. I have done both the pole and lyra (aerial hoop) classes and have loved both classes. Would definitely highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a way to work out that is both artistic and athletic. More...

Great space and a unique variety of class offerings. My granddaughter enrolled here over the summer and loves it. I love this place! I take pole, lyra, and ballet classes. The space is beautiful. The instructors are welcoming and knowledgeable. I've always been intimidated by ballet classes. Not anymore. The movements are broken down, so it's easier for beginners. By taking both pole and lyra, I'm building crazy strength while learning to be graceful and flow into each move. It's the only form of exercise that I've stuck. It's so much fun, I forget I'm exercising. I highly recommend Kinetic Arts Tucson! More...
