I was lucky enough to find Kim over 8 years ago for newborn pictures of my oldest daughter. My daughter's pictures turned out so beautiful that I have continued to use Kim with my other three kids. I can't say enough about how skillful she is with her camera. She knows just when to take the right shot and never seemed to miss those random newborn smiles or sweet looks between siblings.I can pick a Kim Whipps picture out of a crowd. They stand out from other newborn and family photographers. All of her pictures look like they belong in a picture frame you may buy at a store. Her attention to detail during my sessions was obvious in every picture we got back. She creates an extremely relaxing atmosphere that is relaxing for not only a new mother but a new mother with three other kids wandering around her studio.I have done portraits at the mall several times and it always feels rushed and tends to stress out not only me but my kids. Its always a race to try and get the perfect pictures in the small time frame. My experiences with Kim are the opposite, and in fact I'm sad when our sessions have ended because its so relaxing to see her take such gentle care of my kids while I get to sit back and have some down time.I continuously recommend Kim to all of my pregnant friends. Kim is an extraordinary photographer! I was so lucky to find her in a Google search in 2015, when I was pregnant with my first child. Over the last four years, she’s taken newborn photos, family photos, business headshots, and so much more for us. Every session goes smoothly because Kim knows how to make everyone feel comfortable. She’s incredible with kids and makes the entire experience a fun one. My usually reserved three year old was smiling, laughing and dancing within minutes of being around her at our last session. At our newborn session, she expertly poses babies safely and with such care. Because we’re all so comfortable with her, the photographs turn out natural and more beautiful than we ever imagined! She really gets to know you and is open to your suggestions and visions for the sessions. I’ve sent her inspiration photos and color palettes and she magically makes it happen even better than I envisioned, every single time. She truly cares about her clients and it shows in her work!
