My son did not want senior pictures. He thought he would just have a friend use a cell phone and was quite adamant that it wasn't worth the time and money. Of course, I wanted pictures so I called Kim Fetrow because I had worked with her before and knew she would be able to not only get great pictures but work him. She took photos at 3 locations with 3 changes of clothes and really went the extra mile in getting some great shots he would like. I appreciated her thoughtful approach while making the experience a pleasant one for both my son and me. After reviewing the photos once in her studio, she is set up to work online so I could review and approve the edits at my convenience. We were happy to be able to purchase one album and get the photos electronically. Kim will go the extra mile to get you what you want and is such a pleasure to work with. My son actually admitted that he was glad we had the pictures taken and it “wasn't as bad as he thought”. Kim is simply a fabulous photographer - and person! We had the pleasure of working with her for my son's senior portrait session. The locations that she suggested were a perfect match for the style we had described to her. Kim is such a vibrant and fun person - in just a few minutes we felt like we had known her for a long time. It was amazing to watch her work. She is quick and efficient, yet a ton of fun! Even my 18 year old (initially reluctant) son had a great time. Several times during the session she showed me a couple of the images directly from her camera screen - already stunning. The images were available to us within a day - and there were so many to choose from. Narrowing down my favorites was quite the task! Can't say enough about the awesome job Kim did taking pictures of our extended family! 9 adults and 5 kids can be a lot to deal with especially as each family united wanted pictures, then there were individuals shots to be taken, pictures of just us (the grandparents) with the grandkids, and all sorts of combinations there of! She is patient, innovative, and creative when taking the pictures and as well as extremely talented afterwards in preparing proofs and final portraits. She was able to blend several pictures to get us end results that will hang on our walls for decades to come. Kim has been photographing my family since my husband and I got married 5.5 years ago. Her fun loving spirit makes our sessions so enjoyable! Kim has an incredible eye for photography and comes up with some of the most amazing images! She has captured almost all of the big milestone moments for our family. Our wedding photos show all the love and excitement of that day. You can see us filled with joy in the maternity pictures we took during the pregnancy of our 1st born. Kim even came to the hospital the day after our precious children were born to help us create those first few memories with them. When our daughter turned one we decided to use another local photographer who's prices were lower than Kim's. What a mistake that was! This other photographer took over 8 weeks to get our photos back and we didn't even get to select which images we got. This was a complete shock to me because Kim ALWAYS provides us with a multitude of images to choose from AND we get to select which photos we want! Needless to say, since that experience we have always used Kim. Kim Fetrow's prices are worth every penny because her quality, promptness, and generosity! I could write a book sharing all the fun moments we've had with her as our photographer, like the time we did our 2nd maternity shoot in 8 mins in 7 degree weather with snow falling! Those pictures in the snow are some of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen!
